Zander Miller as I recall former striker at Broxburn and scored against us in the Scottish Cup a lively player. I think his dad was until realtively recently was Chairman at Falkirk FC , it appears the Falkirk board goes through a fair degree of change.
In any event I think a good signing.

Didn't witness the alleged broadcasting masterclass due to work commitments it seems £10 saved given the feedback.
Still a good away point for the team credit to them first game back and seldom a happy hunting ground.

Commentators were awful , annan jack and victor , very one sided ripped into Jamie Todd a lot for no reason our new signing Dean Mullen was good , when does Robbie Buchanans loan end for him to go back to hearts feels like we have had him on loan for years ???That would be because he was released by Hearts in 2017 and has been signed with Cowden on a permanent basis since then through various contracts and renewals.

He is suggesting the weather has generally been so bad since the mid January lockdown that most lower league sides would barely have played in a month anyway. Which is true but misses the point somewhat. Some would have been played and there is still another three weeks before you can even start training at best. Its not really directly comparable.
Yeah thanks I sort of get that from the first sentence. I guess it is more specifically the first sentence I am perplexed and cannot fathom .

Wonder what the would have happened if there had been no pandemic. There wouldn’t have been many games played in the lower leagues since Christmas. All is not yet lost, wishful thinking?
Sorry maybe its me but I've read your post a number of times but I don't understand what you are saying here?

Regarding reconstruction.
I honestly think the leagues work well as they are. Almost every game in the season is meaningful, and the addition of all the play offs bring more money in.
The main downside is playing each other 4 times but realistically you would have to go up to 18 at least to get down to twice.I would change it so the winner of the Lowland league and Highland league play offs automatically replaces the bottom L2 team, it I guess that’s not a popular suggestion in this forum!
Also as a bonus, it relegates Hearts. Ann Budge is just embarrassing.
Fixed it for you mate

I donated 20 on Wednesday but will give another 20 next I'm paid, good on the club, for putting bit of fun into the donating tho, in these tough times, Cowdenbeath must go on
Thank you sir it really is appreciated and not taken for granted please be assured.
The board plan to meet virtualy again on line Tuesday to try and work through plans albeit given the lack of certainty it is hard to make firm plans something of a moveable feast at the minute.
The clubs aim is to survive the crisis and and for the club, players and fans & staff to come out safe and strong to take on more more normal sporting challenges.
Your support and everyone and from others appreciated and humbling in equal measure.
Keep the faith and stay safe.

Why post this on a Stenny thread.
Hope it fails miserably thoughCouple of things firstly the idea came from the Stenny thread. Secondly sharing what we are doing with it should Stenny want to copy or take a steer from. In unprecedented times like this we re all in the same mess and good if we all help each other a little as ulitimately we need collective success in the medium to long term.

I definitely don't mind doing that, hope others could also, will do it tonight by donation.
The opportunity is now there.
Taken from announcement on OS yesterday, the club is using the #Club135 portal for people to donate as is attending a game. If anyone wants to take part click here
- In the donators box put the name of the person joining through the "virtual turnstile" and beside that the opposition club name for that match.
- Add the amount £13 for an adult £7 for a child. You can add more if you wish.
- Club then aims to publish the "virtual Crowd" figure for the game.
- Message the fans to thank for attending.
- Those attending all the remaining hime games to receive an exclusive not for sale commemorative badge for doing so.
Some fantastic generous donations already made really appreciated. Nice also to see Sir David show his true colours
Thanks for your support please spread the word and stay safe

I tend to look towards UK Government sources and their published supports.. Obviously it is down to the individual in terms of the credibility they attach. For me the best we have at the moment that is not to say that may change as matters move forward.

He didn't say 600,000 people die each year from flu, he said 6000,000 people die each year.
Point accepted albeit the figure somewhat misguiding on a contextual point as when we take the 600K figure we are looking at at a mortality rate of circa 3.7% through influenza.
In terms of Covid19 and ultimate contamination levels mortality etc a guessing game.
