Renton had an absolutely outstanding defensive headed in our own box that was a certain goal. He’s a lot of faults and looks a confidence player. There’s a lot of positivity about the club now and we should try and keep that going. The terracing was a fun place to be.
Muzz spot on was talking to his dad about that very header crucial. A top guy and as you say a confidence player which is a common theme with our squad hence why we need to really back them vocally where we can

We weren't half shite today...
Fair play to Cowden though, out-fought and out-thought us. first 10 minutes we looked on top and thought we might be heading for a reasonably comfortable win but after that we were all over the place. Cowden defended very well and barely gave us a sniff, and managed to look threatening on the break. On that performance, I'd have thought you'll be looking towards the top 4, rather than the Lowland league trapdoor this season.
We'll need to improve dramatically before the first league game comes round.
Thanks @Gordon EF pretty fair summary time will tell and fingers crossed all the best to EF for next season looks like a decent squad assembled.

Keeper looked decent today, happy with him.
First 11 today obvious weaknesses are lack of pace in attack, and the full back situation. Mullen did alright considering he’s a right sided player put in at left back but we are not going to get much going forward from the 2 full backs areas with that team.
Great result though. East Fife have some useful players.
Ali
Yes
Having to play Mullen LB not ideal & seeing him booked after a minute had me concerned.
I think once Taylor gets match fit he will bring pace a highly valued commodity at this level. The three games I have seen first impression is we can create a threat but need to be tight at the back and IMHO Mango a ig part to play there with some solid performances so far

Replacing McGurn was never going to be easy, but no problems for him today. No failures, not sure about Renton though.
Buchanan deserved mom.
Renton first half outstanding faded second. Bert did well and desreved MOTM but a few chasing which is always good to see.

2 good goals and a shame Jordyn didn’t convert the penalty he won.
There’s a bit more football in the midfield this season which is pleasing to see.
Still some issues with the team but they worked hard and defended well.
Whoever was criticising the keeper on here after his first game, think you jumped the gun. Had a solid and decent game, especially for a young guy.
Ali
100% this, last week a young boy making his debut with players he hardly knew up against a a very useful Airdrie side and people had him condemed.
72 Hours later at Raith pulls off a couple of quality saves and a solid game. Today clean sheet solid all game with one blubber near the end where he spilled one but defence cleared up. I would add he is a really nice guy & great character desperate to learn.
I'm not saying the boys a super star but lets at least give him and the other signings a chance, as you say as well a more football getting played in the middle than in the past, and yes work in progress.

Thank you sir really appreciated the directors have invested in the system personally which as I say is pretty slick and on a par with national lottery platforms. Quite a bit to take on day one especially for an old fart like me, bit if we can reach to fans such as yourself and offer good encouragemet by way of jackpot then great win win , fingers crossed.
We are now up and running with an interim link great to see at an early stage people starting to play really encouraging & appreciated if you want to try link here and also on club OS here
Early days but encouraging thanks to all who support.

Great to see the Cowden lottery online from this week. Can finally play it more than on the odd occasion .
Many thanks for the positive feedback which is really genuinely appreciated. This is quite a big step for the club with a fully state of the art on line option including Apple/Android Apps as well as mobile agency capability. It will take time to get fully operational next couple of weeks will be feet finding but as you say allow people not with immediate access play and if we can expand that net it helps the club & also boosts the prize pot too.
One again thanks for your support please spread the word and bear with us too.

shame we no longer do the half-season ticket books anymore ,theyre handy for folks that live a distance away and/or work weekends too
These normally come on for the Xmas market and has done past few seasons. I guess the issue you have is not able to commit to either first half or second half of season with half seasons traditionally covering second half of the season. If I understand correctly you are looking at a half season that spans both halves?

Thank Stuart appreciated top man.

Back up in Scotland and have been following comments when I can.
Some fair challenges around new strips signings etc as a fan myself I can fully relate to these.
On the other hand however the club is fully stretched in terms of trying to raise revenue to fund some of these, finances & budgets are extremely tight this season and suspect that will be a similar picture across most lower league clubs.
The bottom line is we now have fewer people at board level than we did previously and at the same time trying to move new initiatives -
- Opening the club lounge.
- New Marketing sponsorship package.
- Build Community Initiative walking football etc.
- Build & grow BlueBrazil TV as a media form.
- Launch an online version of the exiisting lottery including mobile app.
These are al things that are currently underway but I guess help to move on faster would be great whether getting new sponsors, promoting the lottery & per recent social media post helping run the lounge bar, helps the club build and I guess ultimately fund some of the p[layers we would love have at the club etc.
I concious that often the club is cake time and time again o the same people asking them to putter hand in their pockets which amazingly they do, but everyone has limits and not everyone can just a fact of life, but what the club need snow is to widen the net hence the new initiates but they also need fans to push promote & help where they can money is great but as I say I think most are giving what they can there but if people can spare time speak to potential sponsors, encourage someone to buy the lottery all a massive help.
I know the club have goals around season ticket sales with the early bird due to end shortly so again if you can please spread the word.
As I say I'm a fan who wants pretty much what all the other fans want too if we all do what w can maybe we can get a good part of what we want.
