The new Enslaved release is outstanding.

The new Röyksopp album. It's rather good.

I don't listen to Gojira but remember seeing them live some years ago (Can't remember why) at King Tut's - they played a song called 'Love' and it was absolutely devastating. Thoroughlly enjoyed their performance.

I think I have only heard one or two of his songs but it was not my cup of tea.

All this Megadeth talk has inspired me to post this little gem

I have not heard this term before. Can anyone explain it to me?

Kristian is a very nice guy and lives by these words. The absurdity in the BM genre is boundless but his approach was genuine.

Although I listen to a lot of stuff, the majority of my taste is made up of bands who come under various pointless sub-genre tags. My favourite band are Agalloch who are a little difficult to describe. Their song writing encompasses Post-rock, folk, ambient, Black Metal and doom influences which appear to different degrees depending on what album you listen to. This is a video for, arguabely, their best song but unfortunately has been shortened and edited poorly. I don't have a lot of time for this band's music (With the exception of a couple of songs from Clayman and Jester Race) but I am told they love playing in Scotland and visit whisky distilleries while they are here on tour. Pretty cool that.

Shagrath is a great live frontman.

Taruva or something to that effect. I go there, it's fairly good and they don't do much small talk.

I went down to London for a weekend with a girl a few years back and she said "What time do I change my phone to? I forgot the time diference.."

I will second that. Its still very fan oriented and well disciplined, which is reflected by the weekely attendances and financial stability of top-tier teams.
