  1. Rumour is......Neymar is using PSG as a stepping stone to the inevitable Angus Elite.
  2. Instead of merging clubs, why not get rid of the ones who have been in administration? That would please Ann Budge and get rid of a fair few clubs. Next get rid of the ones who are not in Scotland.
  3. Is it possible to deregister my account?

You could also write a tear stained resignation thread. That's pretty popular on here.

  4. Easy to take a pay cut on £825,000 than it is on less than the average wage.
  5. I went to The Tunnels in Aberdeen for Heavens Basement. Sadly missed the first band Skarlett Riot but Buffalo Summer were excellent. I've been going to see Heavens Basement since 2003, right through from their Hurricane Party and Roadstar days and they have always been fantastic. Last night was no exception, from the off they went for it at full throttle. However, they are a different animal from previous incarnations in that they are a lot harder now. The singer is very good at the stuff written during his time with HB, but the earlier songs played last night just did not suit his particular style and he is not as charismatic as the previous singer. He's still bloody good though. They should be huge now, but circumstances have conspired against them, wrong place wrong time kinda thing. The biggest negative of the night was the, at best, lukewarm reception for both bands that I saw. It's little wonder that so few decent rock bands come this far north.
  6. Cannae really argue with anything you've said, but, I'm still undecided about Super Collider. Vocals were virtually undetectable but Megadeth were simply awesome despite the mix.
  7. I got my Sabbath tickets today through Live Nation. Never seen them before so I am as happy as a pig in the biggest pile of dung you could imagine! Went to see Michael Schenker in Aberdeen last night, absolutely majestic.
  8. Just because I booked my Black Sabbath tickets today I have been mostly listening to their first album.
  9. Michael Schenker at The Lemon Tree on 10th April then Saxon at ABC on 21st.
  10. Bugger, I wish I had thought of that. Thanks for your input.
  11. Limmy's Show, as funny as bleeding piles. I've tried to watch it two or three times but can't find anything funny about it or him.
  12. Motorhead at Glasgow in November Airbourne at Glasgow in December Status Quo at Aberdeen in December Thin Lizzy at Aberdeen in January. I'm hoping to get tickets for Sabaton in October, but I may not be able to get time off work
  13. The Quireboys, Dan Baird and Homemade Sin and Diamond Dogs at Moshulu last night were excellent. Good unashamed rock'n'roll, with a southern twist from Dan Baird, all night. Magnificent. Next on the agenda-Motorhead/Saxon and Danko Jones in November at the Academy in Glasgow. Although I hope that their will be something in the offing to keep me going until then.
  14. The Quireboys, Dan Baird and Diamond Dogs next Monday-12th May-Moshulu, Aiberdeen Motorhead, Saxon, Danko Jones 10th November Glasgow Academy, Status Quo 16th December, AECC. Considering going to see Stone Gods at Doghouse in Dundee, any opinions on them? I know it's basically The Darkness withoot Justin, but that's all I know about them.
  15. Off to see Hayseed Dixie in Aiberdeen tomorrow. YEEEEEEEEEE, and indeed, HAAAAAAAAAAAA. I've got my dungarees and bandana looked out already! Next up is The Quireboys, Dan Baird and Homemade Sin and Diamond Dogs on May 12th at Moshulu.
  16. Hanoi Rocks at Moshulu last night were awesome. Michael Monroe exploded on to the stage and the pace barely slipped all night. Fuckin' brilliant. Played most of the new album and a few oldies as well. Soho Dolls as the main support was just plain weird. Decent enough for a listen, but not what you would expect for a rock/metal gig. Next on the agenda-Hayseed Dixie 25th March, then possibly The Quireboys and Dan Baird on 12th May.
  17. Hanoi Rocks new album, yes I'm old, Street Poetry.
  18. Nazareth tomorrow night . I'm expecting a fantastic show, with it being the 40th Anniversary tour and all.
  19. Watched "Spirited Away" on BBC4 last night. Excellent stuff, 9/10.
  20. "Gig held in shithole shocker" What do you expect like, candelabra, chandeliers, waiter service, opera glasses. It's a gig for christ sake, you don't go to appreciate the ambience of the venue.
  21. Nazareth-20th February-Moshulu-Aberdeen Hanoi Rocks-27th February-Moshulu Hayseed Dixie-25th March-Moshulu. Also seriously thinking about going to see Maylene and the Sons of Disaster at Moshulu in January.
  22. Status Quo were magnificent at Aberdeen on Monday night. From the opening bars of Caroline to the fading bars of Bye Bye Johnny the place was bouncing. It took a full day to peel the smile aff my fizzog. Can't wait for Dundee tonight.
  23. Off to see the mighty Status Quo in Aberdeen on the 17th at the AECC and in Dundee on the 19th, at the Caird Hall. Both sold out apparently.
  24. Towers of London at Moshulu-18th July, Thin Lizzy/Queensryche at Aberdeen Music Hall-1st December, Status Quo at AECC-17th December, Status Quo at Caird Hall , Dundee,-19th December. Edited 'cos there are no' 119 days in December !
  25. Went to see Nazareth in the Beach Ballroom in Aberdeen on Saturday night. Absolutely superb. Good support band as well, Redhouse-from the Glasgow area I believe. Anybody know anything about them ?
