  1. I guarantee he will be maginifcent for you guys. He has so much potential, but Pressley doesn't use him properly. For what it's worth, Danny Lennon was at our game yesterday, probably looking at Mark Stewart.
  2. Buchanan's giant Jelly beans. I want to share them with P&B but...
  3. Andy Thomson has been invited, and has accepted, an invitation to join the Board of Falkirk Football Club. Andy is born and bred a Bairn and was educated at Wallacestone Primary and Falkirk High Schools and although his career has taken him away from Falkirk at times he has always been, and continues to be, based in the town. Andy is a Chartered Accountant with 30 years experience of top level businesses in Scotland and internationally and brings that wealth of experience to assist the development of the club. Andy also hosted The Falkirk Football Programme on Central FM for 15 years prior to bringing the show to Falkirk TV and for the last couple of years has been leading the development of Falkirk TV.

  5. I found 3rd year exams more difficult than 4th year ones personally. Although for some reason, teachers think it's appropriate to make you shit yourself with difficult papers that are no where near the standard of 4th year finals. Wait till you get to highers, you'll be wishing you were back doing Standard grades/intermediates again Having said that, if you end up doing advanced highers, you may very well find them easier than Highers like I did. I have no idea why that was the case, but for some reason all of that important stuff you have learned suddenly all comes together and makes sense. Especially in Chemistry...
  6. Have you perhaps tried just pressing the same combination of keys you pressed? Either that, or try pressing shift + alt + print screen. I can't think of what else it would be really.
  7. I think what you've done is activated the mode that is used for people with poor eyesight. If you press shift alt + print screen it activates the "poor sight mode ". Perhaps due to the fact you were on Fm and pressed a few other keys, it didn't work properly. Can I ask, what operating system are you using?
  8. Tried all of the changes you suggested when I played a few holes last night. What a difference!
  9. Rumour: Greig Stewart will be a Falkirk player next season. Thoughts?
  10. Just hope this series is better than the last. Can't describe how pish that was.
  11. Thanks, for that. I suppose it's no coincidence that the problem almost stops when I move up to my 7. And once I'm down to my 6,5 and 4 the problem completely dissappears as I generally hit them further foward in my stance. Do you know much about where you should be hitting the ball with rescue clubs? I've generally been sticking to slightly foward in my stance, but not as far as I would with the 3W or driver. My rescue is probably my favourite club in the bag, but always looking to improve with it.
  12. I have a question hopefully somebody can answer. Quite recently, the distance from my short irons has been hampered a bit. The problem is from my PW down to about my 7 iron. The flight and height for these are all perfect, but its the distance that's hurting me. On average, I'm hitting my PW about 140 yards. The problem is, I find my distance is almost exactly the same when I move up to my 9, 8 and 7(although not so much with this). Effectively, it feels like I'm carrying two clubs there is no real point in using. Of course it may be difficult to answer without knowing what my swing is like, but does anybody have any solutions? I was thinking it was perhaps the problem with my stance. I usually play my PW, 9 and 8 ever so slightly back in my stance with my 7 in the middle. All answers appreciated.
  13. I'm not really surprised it was a few as that. It wasn't even mentioned on the website. What do they expect? Not everybody reads One F which incidently is how I found out.
  14. “It’s no secret that club is facing short term cash flow problems and is in desperate need of investment for the short to medium term. It’s well documented why we have these problems and the drastic cost cutting that has taken place at the club in the last twelve months. The fact of the matter is our income has fallen quicker than we can reduce our costs, as many of our costs are not like a tap you can just turn off. It takes time for the effect of the cuts to filter down into our cashflow. Whilst the Board is addressing the need for an immediate cash injection, we also need all our supporters to play their part. We have only two home league games left before the summer break; not games that were ever budgeted to be big earners. We now need you to make them big games in terms of attendance and income. The challenge will be to achieve an extra one thousand walk-up supporters and an extra fifteen thousand pounds of income at each game. The more money we can get through the gate now, then the less we will have to take from next season’s budget. This year season ticket sales will be more important to the club than ever before. As this cash is necessary to provide the cash we need to run the club during the close season. In previous seasons we have had a reserve of capital that could be used during the close season. That is not the case this year. The board of directors and major shareholders have already put significant sums of money into the club over the course of this season however it’s clear we can’t do this on our own and we need your help. Everyone was taken aback at the numbers that turned out for Monday evening’s supporters meeting. This shows how much this club means to us all. Since the meeting, we have had a great response in terms of season ticket sales and offers of help. If we can maintain this level of passion and support through the last two home games and the summer months then we will have gone a long way to secure our future. I would like to thank you all for your support so far, it is appreciated and it is most certainly not taken for granted." You know what to do if you want this to happen Martin, Steven Pressley must go. Simples.
  15. Some people on One F genuianly believe we can still win it
  16. FWIW, I find quite often Firefox doesn't work with watching various Internet streams and videos. It requires all of these various plug-ins to just watch a video. Have you got it working on Firefox before?
  17. I'll agree with you there. I thought the random swearing in attempt to be funny dragged it down.
  18. Was one of the Wrestlemania revenge tour events at Braehead shopping centre in Glasgow last night. Was in the food court and the queue was so bloody long! Would probably have got tickets had I known it was on. Went to one a few years ago and it was fantastic. Did anyone go?
  19. Went to see Your highness last night. Its been getting some fairly poor reviews, but I personally thought for the large part it was hilarious. Natalie Portman made it even better
  20. That's pretty shite they rejected you after all that! Oh well, a few of my mates went to Cally and all loved it.
