  1. If my maths are correct, Lanark will be promoted if they win their next two games.
  2. Two good results for Lanark tonight. Not surprised at either. Gow will be gaining confidence that they will go up but Three's task has got harder.
  3. We'd have much preferred to play Ardeer last week. One of the few games postponed that day.
  4. Dalry are no pushovers as we established yesterday. They still have VoL and Bellshill to play
  5. Huntershill is next week and, is one of the few games that I will miss this season. If I have to miss any, I prefer it to be a plastic one.
  6. Gartcairn and Drumchapel are awful places to watch a game. The leisure centres they use do provide decent parking and toilets but that is all that can be said for them.
  7. 11 wins from our last 12 league games. Today was impressive, not because we played particularly well but how we went about it. 1 up inside 2 minutes with a very nice goal but then allowed Dalry into the game and could easily have been 3 or 4 - 1 down at half time instead of 2-1. Dalry put us under serious pressure. Bold but correct move taking off one of our 2 CB's, both of whom were on yellow cards. manager brought himself on and changed the tactics to suits the difficult surface. Further substitutions made a difference, particularly the introduction of big Graham Gracie. Our captain Liam Mushet was immense today, playing on through injury. Willie Muir unavailable today so our 18 yr old reserve keeper played only his 2nd game at this level and acquitted himself very well. Keep saying it. All in our own hands, regardless of other fixtures although pleased to see the points were shared at Bellshill. A home win for The Gow in their next fixture would not go amiss.
  8. I'm on here saying I want you to beat Bellshill
  9. You reap what you sow. I'll be surprised if any team got a different reception from the one we got when we visited Threave. Very warm welcome, with great facilities and food. We are looking forward to hosting them soon. may put an order in for some of their pies and sausage rolls!
  10. Quite a turnaround having lost 3-1 away at Dalry on Saturday.
  11. I see our season has been extended by a week. Final game is away at Ardeer. Hope players haven't booked holidays.
  12. I can confirm that Finnart were poor again yesterday. They scored a nice goal towards the end but didn't carry much threat apart from that. I am not saying that Gow can't do it, but merely challenging the statement made about them being favourites to go up in 3rd.
  13. Got sidetracked with Finnart. VoL are in an even stronger position as they have 4 games to play
  14. I question how, with 8 games still to play that Gow can be considered favourites over Finnart, who only have 3 more games. I get that The Gow are in form but, the task facing them is far greater than that facing Finnart.
