Time will tell with JDH. He started well for us, then fell off the boil and was average to meh at best. That could have coincided with him being asked at playing a deeper role in the midfield that he doesn't like or isn't keen on. I feel if Utd have money issues, this is not that they have offered more cash (maybe they did though) maybe it's because signing with us again would mean playing that role again, where Utd are going to give him a free roam/more attacking role that he wants to play to show case his "talent". The length of the time the contract was on the table was a joke. Is it a step up for him, not at all. I don't think we will miss him and I hope he plays shite against us!

Maybe we have a disciplined 6 lined up or trying to get as well? Allow Power and the disciplined 6 to play together with the young team and Flynn on the bench?

Is it more money if they are in debt or have money issues as people keep saying? I wonder if it isn't just money and it's the role he is asked to play with us. He went off the boil when being made to play a more deeper Role. I think he sees himself in the McGrath role and couldn't get that with us. He might get to have the midfield in Utd formed around him and his style? That could then show case him better for the move down south later?

I just wish the tickets were available now. I had to give my season ticket.up.when my son was born, as I couldn't justify working FT, then taking the day on Saturday to go to games. Now he is old enough and wants to come too. I want to see what seats are available and get him in to the rollercoaster of a ride that supporting St. Mirren really is.

I would just love it if we had McGrath/Kiltie as your attacking midfielder, need a box to box or creative mid like Mallan maybe, then just a hard nut. It would allow us real flexibility with players and formations I feel.

Get JDH Tae f**k as offer has been there for ages, get Mallan for a creative role in his place and get a Goodwin/Shuggie/Aber style player and I think we are way more improved on last season.

I'm sure before he went to Hibs Goodwin wanted Alexandros Gogić. So he can spot them, just they must be in real demand or something, but since Goodwin left us as a player, we haven't really had another.

I would love a Shuggie or Goodwin style central defensive midfielder. Think it's what we really miss and feel it is a role they tried to get JDH to play, and that's not his style. I would hope Goodwin could spot a Goodwin style player.
