That performance had the patience and composure we lacked in Cardiff. No panic and let the French shoot themselves in the foot. Russell is a careless clown who can produce moments of genius. He's had a shocker of a tournament so far. Greig Laidlaw is the absolute boy.

Strauss fell out of favour with Townsend a while back, which is a shame since we're not exactly flush with hard hitting, ball carriers.

Although I agree with this on the performance today. This is exactly how they always play and exactly what got them in the team. They're boom or bust players, when it comes off we look like the Baa Baas at their finest but when it doesn't we look like the uni 3rds team. They've even not played that well.

Currently looking for a decent place to watch the 6N.. Doesn't look as if any Canadian cable channel is showing any games. My usual go to streaming site is now littered with pop ups and adware. I used to use Private Internet Access to watch Iplayer but the Beeb has been blocking all their servers. Anyone else in the same situation and have any creative suggestions/ideas?

The development players need eased into the first team where it builds their confidence and limits any potential mistakes that could wreck that. I imagine it's more challenging to blood young defenders than forwards, since any errors can potentially lead to conceding goals and costing points. The same risk isn't quite there with forwards. Especially since this is such an important season for us and anything less than promotion is a failure. I think Smith's going about it correctly.

I had GGG ahead. Canelo won the first 3 rounds and maybe the last couple but Golovkin bossed the belly of the fight. That first scorecard happened entirely in the judge's imagination. Ah well.. Get to go again later on down the line. Hopefully wont take another two years this time!
