    To be fair, he was top notch for Dumbarton in the Championship and that was as recent as 2017 so I'm pretty sure there is still a player in there. In general, our fans are delighted with him re-signing.

    I don't imagine we'll be signing another CB around this level as we now have McGeever, Buchanan and young fella Lynch who was at Alloa last season. May be wrong though...

    On paper he would be a decent enough option at this level. I wonder if there are any players in the mould of Chris Kane/Stevie May who we could get on loan from a prem team

    As uninspiring as Bobby Barr was he was reasonably consistent with us. Always got the 7/10 performance I thought. If I remember correctly, he was keen to stay before and it was only because Duffy fannied around he ended up leaving. He also seemed to enjoy his spell with us, which wasn't the case at many of his other clubs... Not too fussed overall but as a squad player he would be fine at this level.

    I'd assumed Geggan will probably play RB anyway. Think that is where he has featured most in the last few years, but I may be wrong.

    Gregor certainly enjoyed his time at sons and would be an excellent partner beside Ryan McGeever. Needs to cut his hair if he hasn't already though...

    He rarely played wide for us. Mostly in behind the striker or off the striker with the occasional dropping back into the centre on midfield if we were a bit bare due to injuries etc. Might work better out wide to be fair...
