So what happens if I move to Germany before 2016 and Scotland is refused EU membership? Will I be deported?
You'd not be an EU citizen any more.

If Germany, France and the Uk want us in we will get in. To.think.that the likes of Romania will.have a genuine say is lunacy.
I'll say it again we will get.into the EU, UN and whatever else you want to.throw up. You know it, Reynard knows it, everyone knows it.
So their views are to be discounted? Is this really the sort of outfit a small country like Scotland wants to be a part of?
Romania have a veto, as do all other 28 member states.
You are asserting we WILL get in which is an entirely different position adopted by Sturgeon and Salmond who said we were ALREADY in. Some of the nationalist supporters on here argued their case for them and agreed with this statement. I take it that you dispute their line?

The Spanish PM was asked 4 times if he would veto and 4 times he wouldn't answer. Why ????
Because he wont bloody veto.
Will he still be Spanish PM come veto time?

Spain wont have any say. The big boys in Northern Europe will decide.
All 28 member countries have a say and a veto.
Was Barosso wrong? If so, why?

The UK government could answer.those questions for you if they wanted to.
Barosso already has.

What happens to my EU citizenship IF Scotland doesn't get unanimous backing from all other 28 current member states? Will I lose it? Will I be able to continue to claim citizenship even though the state I am now a citizen of is no longer an EU member?
0 -
When did I say that ?
And before you start you can keep your.international law crap to yourself.
We will be negotiating from within the uk so that by the time of independance day everything will be dealt with.
Will we be going through the normal membership process or will ours be totally different?

There are absolutely no means in which to revoke 5 million peoples EU citizenship. Never been done and never will be done.
We will get.into the EU. The positive contributors to the EU will see to that.
In the words of the Danish government.... "It will be a mere formality"
Umm, yes there is...
We WILL get in? Doesn't this sort of fly in the face of what Salmond and Sturgeon have been saying though. ie that we are already a member state?

I'm a Commonwealth citizen. What does that win me?

NATO ????
I thought we were talking about some of the perks that citizenship of the UK can give you if the UK has membership of certain organisations?

What it means is if you are a citizen of a member state then you are a citizen of the EU. Im a EU citizen and that wont be changing if there is a yes vote.
It would if your country was no longer a member state.
Same as if your country was not in the Commonwealth, you'd no longer be a Commonwealth citizen.

Fucking yass! I'm ALSO a Commonwealth citizen!!!
Am I a NATO citizen too? Triple nationality possibly quadruple nationality.

EU citizenship is additional to and does not replace national citizenship. It is for each EU country to lay down the conditions for the acquisition and loss of nationality of that country.
What does that mean? Have I got dual nationality now?

You claimed there is no such thing as an EU citizen.
Kinda like citizen of the world type of thing?
Or is it like being a citizen of the USA where you come from one of the member states? Is the EU now a country or something?

So, what about those EU citizens that don't exist?
What about them?

Can you issue a list of posters on this bit of the site that fit that criteria please?
Cheers.
Anyone?
Or was Dipped Flake simply complaining that this bit of the site isn't simply a bunch of high fiving natbot losers at the moment?
The nationalist blogs will be more your scene if you need the comfort blanket of lots of people agreeing with everything you say and giving you a big group hug and possibly even a reacharound.

That's excellent.
The nationalists can now ignore yet another poll which shows they are bombing horrifically in their referendum.
Time for a wee Panelbase commission to keep spirits up for the long drag in to certain defeat.
Just a gut feeling you understand?

Why does anyone continue to argue with Reynard and his pal? If you ask them questions they don't like they just ignore them. There is no debating with them as their minds are set, which is fine. It makes much more sense debating with people who have an open mind on the subject and are willing to listen to valid arguments
Can you issue a list of posters on this bit of the site that fit that criteria please?
Cheers.

It's not a few percent out if a proper weighting was used, add 105 votes onto YES for the area being less supportive of the SNP than the average of the country as a whole.
It's probably the least informative poll we've had so far.
It informs us that the borders don't want independence either. Much like the rest of the country.

The fact that the Tories are twice as strong in that area as they are in the country as a whole explains it enough, take 140 votes straight off NO for that and the poll is in line with the others, I've already posted similar, it isn't rocket science.
Its a few percent out from what most of the others tell us. Yes is losing and is going to lose, as you say, it's not rocket science.

Actual evidence or f**k off.
Evidence has been given. It's nobodies fault that you are an illiterate quarter wit.

As my post says it was the recent better together commissioned poll, why dont you read the article - it isnt long.
Has he come up with a good excuse for the result of the Borders poll for ITV which has the yes clowns at less than a quarter of the vote?
Maybe in a few days time Wings will have got their shit together on that. Bated breath time..

Maybe an interesting critique of the recent YouGov poll?
When we commissioned our second Panelbase poll, we asked Edinburgh University’s highly respected Professor of Public Policy, Politics and International Relations,James Mitchell, to give our questions the once-over beforehand to ensure they weren’t unfair or leading. The resulting poll’s neutrality was widely praised.
We thought it might therefore be interesting to get his expert professional opinion on the recent “Better Together” poll by YouGov, and he very kindly obliged.
Was this a critique of last nights poll by ITV or some other one that is giving a startlingly similar result to all the others apart from the ones that the likes of Wangs buy or that the SNP buy?
He has been overtaken by events already.

sorry for my ignorance Reynard - what does "constiuency agent" mean?
Election agent even.. does all the legal stuff during an election and whatnot and basically runs the constituency office during peacetime.
Basically a secretary but politically involved usually.

And if Scotland chose not to be a member of the Commonwealth you'd not be a Commonwealth citizen either.
Membership of these organisations are entirely down to the country/state you have actual citizenship of and it's embership status of these institutions. There's no such thing as an actual stand alone EU /Commonwealth citizen.
