I don’t think you can say you should always know which nation you want to play for, particularly when you have kids such as the above that could be conflicted. It isn’t simple for them, they clearly have more than one nationality.

It doesn’t really matter who they represent at age group level, as I imagine development wise they are probably better playing for England anyway. We’ll find out in the next few years if they are good enough.

    Yeah, I agree.

If they do make a career for themselves and are good enough to be considered to play for the A teams of Scotland and England they will then have a choice to make. The same goes for the likes of Gray and Anderson at Newcastle. up until that point it doesn’t really matter who they play for at age group level.

You would imagine if England come knocking and say they will be a major part of their A team Squad for the next 5 or 10 years, then they would choose them though.  That is just the way it goes.

Given the fact they are all born and bred in England, I wouldn’t have an issue with that either. Regardless of who their father, uncle or grandad played for.

Like Scott McTominay you mean? If generations of your family all played for Scotland and one of your parents is a Scottish international cap, or was even the Scotland captain, then that's very disappointing that your offspring would choose a different path. Children often disappoint you.

I bet Darren is awfy proud to see his sons wear the England shirt.

I am sure one of Fletcher’s sons has chosen to play for Scotland though (so far). They played against each other in an international not so long ago.

That c**t Pele checked out early last year to steal my January Captain celebration, so Jimmy will either peg out 30 Nov or next year!

Yeah, Pele and the Pope pegging it in the last couple of days in December was particularly disappointing. If they held on a week or so more and I would have started January with a hat-trick.

As an Annan fan just back nice to hear all the smart Qos comments. All I would say is that Queens are a full time team and certainly did not look like one! Annan are struggling with 6 or 7 starters out injured and can only get better. See you guys at Annan!

Aw, cheer up Solway Star. Most Queens fans look out for Annan too.

  5. Servette really should be dead and buried. A competent team would have taken five or six off of them tonight.

Rangers just seemed to make an arse of it when they reached the 18 yard box. Over passing and wrong pass selection time after time. Especially when the Swiss went down to 10 men for the last half an hour.

I’m sure they would haven taken that result at the start, but the failure to bag another goal or two could bite them on the arse next week.

I know this is a mildly amusing storm in a teacup, really, but MT does have a point.  That sign is actually much worse than no sign at all and it puts the club in a bad light.

I think a tastefuly drawn, two dimensional cock and balls would hasten change if it adorned the sign.  If not, it would at least bring a new element to consider to the conversation.

A crude, school boy level drawing with little thought, or profound commentary about social decay in a provincial. town?  You decide - what was the artist’s purpose?

Either that, or somebody could just pin up the next fixture.

Aye this. The sign doesn't really bother me tbh. But if the club are paying someone to do it* and they aren't doing what they're paid to do then they should get shot of them.

I'm sure someone would gladly volunteer to do it. @Monkey Tennis?...

    * I don't know if they're paid. I'm just assuming you know

That is fair point. They probably aren’t paid., so that was unfair of me and I take it back.

More the QOS support in general. In the same wee boat as Stranraer when it comes to obsessing over Ayr.

Really? I can’t say I have noticed, as there isn’t much chat about Ayr on our thread.

While I don’t wish to be rude, I can’t remember Ayr ever really being a topic of conversation on it, other than we are due to play them.

Don’t get me wrong, I am sure Ayr much like most teams will get posters from other teams posting on their thread. That generally happens in a multi-team forum though. It is hardly a sign of obsession though.

Somebody paid good money for his amputated willy a while back. Supposedly it resembled a shrivelled grape but, then again, I'm not sure that anyone's tadger would be at its best two hundred years after being hacked off the body.

Have any P&Bers paid for a detached penis that may or may not have belonged to a historical figure, no guarantees guv, caveat emptor 'n' all that?

Apparently Catherine of Aragon’s withered tit was available to buy on Ebay a couple of years ago.

That said, as there were 6 available and at the suspiciously low ‘buy now’ price of £200,  I think we can safely say they didn’t come with any providence.

I suppose they would have been a nice curiosity for someone - a talking point if you like.
