I know Stevie Doogan missed the goal on Saturday as he was still setting up after trying to thaw himself out at half time, is there any other highlights available?

Our other cameraman missed it too. Someone was filming standside around the halfway line but I’ve no idea who he was. Stevie and David will be dropped next week! Good luck in the next round.

    3pm -  Pollok 6v2 Clydebank   erskine cup

7.15pm - Pollok 6v4 Maryhill a.e.t.  Glasgow Junior  Charity Cup

Tough on the players, but how did the kitman get the strips washed and dried in a couple of hours 😀

if an individual pours money into a junior club, how do they get some back?

Doubt if anyone does, if they do it would still be a net loss. The advantages- community involvement, prestige/ kudos, raising profile ( personal or business) Can be good for a club and bring instant success. Better to have a sustainable model than a Sugar Daddy as Bellshill , Bathgate and Ballingry have found out .

I’m not having a pop at Pie.S.G. John might be there long term, just pointing out that there are lessons to be learned from other clubs experiences. My own club included, which is why no one can own more than one share. It may stifle investment but no one can sell us down the river again.

Would bet on Darvel winning league this season but doubt the bookies would give decent odds.

Anno its light banter. Ive noticed there's tea n biscuits up stairs and also capri suns but no strongbow. Use all know i love a bow or 10 lol

    Mon the papers

There was a load of Strongbow, the roadciders got there first !

  6. Delighted we now have a permanent ‘holm’  Had to be plastic to get the grants, but seems to be a good surface and will serve the community well. Still a lot to be done but given time it’s gonna be a cracking ground for both home and visiting fans

  7. Chances are Yoker will go down. Might not be the worst thing though. Fresh start next season at the revamped Holm Park, wouldn’t bet against them coming straight back up, maybe as champions. A winning season could totally reinvigorate the Whe-Ho. Best of luck.

That's one I'm not sorry to have missed! By the accounts I've heard a soft pen then a goalkeeping howler made it game over early on. Sending off of the Yoker Assistant Manager, playing as a defender, might have influenced the final score but who knows.

Clydebank may have the bragging rights over us for now but we can live with that. Clydebank fans enjoy the season ahead. This might be your high point!

Penalty, he only used 2 arms to pull back Higgins. Stonewaller. Liam was a bit unlucky in as much it wasn’t the best punch out, but landed at Nicky Little who had the vision to control the ball and lob it into the net. Whe Ho were a shadow of the sides of old who would do everything in their power to prevent Bankies winning. Management seemed to accept defeat a wee bit too easily. Might be our high point babfc, mibbees no .
