Yeah, so you can eat them in peace probably.1 -
Feels apt for us right now. Seems like we are sleep walking towards relegation and just expect ourselves to magically find our way out of trouble. I would not be at all surprised to see us go down the way things are going.0 -
For those that are at the games, what are we doing better under Ferguson compared to Dodds?
To be clear I'm not advocating that Dodds shouldn't have been sacked. I think he had to go but I feel like we are just as rudderless right now and I'm becoming more and more convinced that we are heading for League 1 via the playoffs.

We had plenty of the ball but did nothing with it? I. Am. Shocked.

That's such a wild take.
This man is in charge of transport policy in the capital city of Scotland!?
It's an utterly bizarre position to take. Looking forward to the business case for a team barreling through Lochend Park in the future.

I don’t think I’ve ever celebrated something that wasn’t a goal as much as I did Jamie Hamill missing that penalty. Poetic as he walked down waving his hands and then the smarmy little c**t missed it
Tanseys goal might be one of my favourite ever Caley goals I’ve seen live, it was killing someone in the stand if the net didn’t stop it
I think you can see me in the highlights after that miss absolutely raging with joy having fallen over a couple of people in sheer ecstasy.

That squad list lays bare the challenges in the summer. Who would you actually keep from that list assuming the loanees all return to their parent clubs? Ridgers, Harper, Gilmour and maybe Mckay?

Even Shaw hasn’t been great this season and he isn’t signing a new deal anyway. McKay is by far our best permanent player but even he is 34 so we do need to start looking at replacements.
Yeah no matter what league we are in next season we are going to need an absolutely massive overhaul of the playing staff.

So it seems Carson will be away. Who else might we lose? Harper is rumoured to be off to Charlton.

Good to see MacKay hates the County.
And yes I am fully aware that we are utter shite.1 -
It doesn't close. It SLAMS SHUT!

Just when we finally have enough right back options to see him moved to midfield. Although it's a step up, it would likely be short lived and he'd be back in the Championship next season again.
Also, Livingston is boring as f**k.

Well this is disappointing.

I feel like the Chase Young trade has been a bit of a letdown and Hargrave hasn't had the impact I hoped for. Bosa got a couple of sacks last night but has been underwhelming by his normally exceptional standards. Can't help but feel a lot of the sub par performances from the defence is down to the change in DC. As I said on the managerial merry-go-round thread I wouldn't be fussed if Wilks got a HC job at the end of the season (though it seems unlikely now).

Trying to think who has a nicer arse - John McGinn or Alex Samuel?

CEC have announced their preferred route for the tram line down the Granton. The planned route would gobble up a large chunk of the very popular Roseburn path. A new path would be built along the new tram line but cycling would be discouraged with new cycling lanes provided on Orchard Brae and Queensferry Road.
The loss of cycling from the Roseburn path would be truly awful as far as I'm concerned. I do agree it's not the most pleasant to cycle along on a dark night for some but the suggestion of providing access to the city centre via cycle lanes on other roads isn't much of a solution given that a lot of people travelling along the route aren't always going to the city centre but instead to the north of Edinburgh and potentially all the way down to Leith. It's an excellent off road connection away from busy roads (like Queensferry Road) that is almost wholly flat (unlike the sloping Orchard Brae). And finally, several millions of pounds have been spent building a connecting path between Roseburn and the canal route which has been decades in the making.
All in all it seems like a real backward step for active travel to accommodate the tram.3

What an arsehole. A couple of cyclists were mugged on the Blackhall path and had their bikes nicked by some cretins. Enter Scott Arthur who links this to the murder of Sarah Everard and the need for brightly lit cycle paths to stop this kind of stuff happening which, of course, is a thinly veiled promotion of the new tram line going down the Roseburn path because it will make it nice and bright.
