Like them or not BRABCO on the face of it and with the help of the local directors and trust have guided the club into a great position. Do we know every single detail about them? No, but do we need to? When they came in we had a owner who didn't want to be there and a team in the 3rd division. When they came in they didn't hide the fact that the end goal was move the club to a new ground and in turn get a return on their investment and get the club to the 1st Div. At that point I thought wasn't sure if 1st div was possible and look where we are now. 5th in the league with a fantastic manager that's been backed by the board. Fan involvement at board level and other levels of the club. Is it perfect? - again no do people mind sets need to change more yes but still in a pretty decent position to be in. On the stadium front it's now well document/ known that expansion where we are isn't possible and commercially we don't have/ get the best from the stadium. If financially possible would you turn down a new community backed stadium maybe 4000 seats with an all weather pitch, bar with the ability to take home and away fans. Bigger commercial opportunity with conference rooms, offices. A gym? Who know the options are endless. Not exactly a transport nightmare either. Easily accessible by car, on a bus route and 20min walk from the town centre?

Curler was missing but grumpy was there. We'll miss sats game but back for the next. Now the social side is done onto the game. We played well in the first half and as already mention, fell away in the second. Two stand outs were lumsden and kerkerran. Hopefully the pitch will be sorted soon as its pretty bad in areas.

Glad we had a good run out at the weekend but it is a preseason game so will wait until competitive games come along to fully judge. The pitch alterations are an interesting one, could it really help our game and help much with the stand side frozen patch? Squads coming together nicely don't think we'll see much signings, apart from who we know about. I guess if anyone else is to be added its now a waiting game as they may have interest from higher teams so its seeing if that works or weather we could offer something. Plus surely we will have a youngster or two coming from St Mirren/Motherwell.

Suppose the "premier" give you the near best view in the stadium. Agreed that overall footy prices are too high. Would love to see us following in partick's foot steps and letting kids get in for free.

We do not know that he can't cut it in the First Division. He was rather more than adequate last season. Hands up who thought Jim Lister was First Division material?Can't argue your point re Jim lister but I would be very surprised if any of the players that are on loan now will be at the club after the summer.

Just got a letter from the club saying that te platinum club has been cancelled as of January. Shame I thought it was a good idea. Considering there probs wasn't much involved to make it work would have thought any money in would be better than non.

Only went for 70mins odd since it was bloody freezing. Murray looked very composed at the back didn't really put a foot wrong and was pretty vocal for the first 45, Subbed at half time. McClusker held the ball up well and made some good runs but hope to see more from him in the coming weeks. Lamont for me hasn't done enough to merrit a deal. Yeh he's got some pace and can put a ball across but too lightweight, breathe on him and he'll crumple. I know he's young and maybe I'm being a bit harsh but thing we could get better.

Sounds like he doesn't rate nicol and and has farmed him out to make room for new recruits. Although they haven't appeared yet.

Would like to see devlins loan extended. IMO lamont has been a shadow of his former self so if he isn't offered a deal then not worried. Hopefully the boss can strengthen in the window.

Rubbish thread name but since it seems we're all posting here then why not I agree with BBPF we should be doing alot better than our current situation, some players seem to have lost the ability to play football. If we were tight and well drilled with keeping the ball we could have frustrated some teams more instead we have reverted to bending over and parting our cheaks. The Morton game still sticks in my mind. It was like a training game. The stats and history buffs can correct me if I'm wrong but did we not get a sports scientist in the year we got promoted from the 3rd? He seemed to help change things round so why not give it a go.
