  1. Historically I have defended the club in these situations but my experiences this season of getting ticket etc are crazy. Dundee Utd game, get to the ground during the week, can I have seat x if possible as it's beside the people I normally sit with. No we only sell the tickets in blocks and that area is sold out. So I can give you random seat Y. Ok fine. Go to the game and sit beside my friends with plenty of seats free. Hmm either "that blocks booked out" was a lie or we have lots of ppl buying tickets only not to show up. Yesterdays game same thing as above only this time find out supposedly the real reason of why they sell the tickets this way. We don't have time to sort through and find the seat you would be looking for so you just get given the next ticket on the pile. WTF ok I mean it's not exactly hard to find a ticket. Imagine going to the cinema/ concert/ theatre and being told on we're filling from the front so you'll just get the next ticket we have free. Oh you want to chose your seat, no no no we don't do that. oh and the kicker yesterday was during the game my mum went to get a drink of water as she had a bad cough only to be told we have to charge you for the cup. As they are all counted. Really someone needs a drink of tap water and we're charging them. The club really need to take a long hard look at how it's run and maybe look up Customer Service. We have visions of grandure but can't do the basics.
  2. how can you class us loaning someone out to the end of the season an "emergency loan" Dont get me wrong we're working within the rules but just think it's crazy that this even exists
  3. Just seen it was Guido's wee man who led the team out yesterday. Can't believe he's that age already. Great to see all the family there on Saturday.
  4. Just having a look at our fixtures from now until we play Hibs for the last time in March and they all look winnable with maybe Falkirk being the hardest opponents. If we play like yesterday we should pick up a decent amount of points.
  5. Fingers crossed it works out for him but for me he's really not shown enough. He's been average this season. When I heard he was coming at the start of the season I was excited from all the reviews he was getting but he's been average so far. I suspect he'll be a journey man like a lot of players.
  6. I would put myself in the Aitken out camp as I don't think results and performances have not been good enough. BUT if they continue to perform like they did to day then I'll be won round. My gut says it won't happen but I'm happy to be proven wrong.
  7. Replay is on Tuesday 6th Unless there's certain rules on pricing then it should be £10 for adults and £5 for everyone else. Considering the dismal performances, run up to Christmas and people less likely to turn out for a week night, those prices would be good.
  8. We were a disgrace today and after standing behind the dugout today and listening to Aitken and co, I have to admit I'm now in the out camp. He stood for most of the 1st half shouting at Buchanan for mostly no reason. You can understand why the players are playing with no confidence. Credit to Martin, he kept us in it today but something has to be done. Oh and the final Nail on Aitken's coffin was him turning round smiling like a Cheshire Cat and clapping the fans, FFS you drew to Rose not Hibs you idiot. The excuses tomorrow will be the sun was in their eyes, rose were well setup, we had players out and, unlikely, I had no clue how to set my team up today.
  9. I'm interested when people say our stadium is "fit for purpose" My question is, is it really? Yes, we have an all seater stadium, decent standard, good hospitality suite and supporters bar( for home fans) and as far as I understands the stadium is paid off so we don't have that debt over our head. Now if we take a step back and look at the flaws. We can't expand our stadium if we need to or want to. We don't have our own training facilities for the first team let alone our youth teams. Our pitch has a slope/ dip at one end. We don't have great facilities for disabled people. Due to the setup our supporters bar can only take home fans. In the winter its freezing from the wind of the Clyde,on that note when the wind is up the ball can have a mind of its own. Now I have no doubt we could fix some of the issue above at our ground just now but and a big BUT if we can move and it doesn't cost the club a great deal of money, we are protected when moving and we get a potentially better deal facilities wise then I think we should go for it. The stadium being by the castle hold no centimental value to me and for purely selfish reasons it would be easier to get to if it was just of the bypass than were it is now. Again BUT I haven't seen the plans etc so that's why I'm going to head to the Rock tonight and see it all and ask any relevant questions. I hope that tonight will see a large turn out and a resonable debate. My fear is that it won't be.
  10. Wouldn't be massively upset by it. In recent games he looks like he's ran out of ideas. I don't see him as any better than their previous manager.
  11. Got a spare ticket for tomorrow as due to work commitments I now can't go PM if interested
  12. We looked like we didn't care. Fair play to EF. The better team overall and played so good stuff. Gallacher off, for me was a little bit harsh I would have said a yellow but fair play you can't go in swinging. Surprised Fleming didn't get an early shower as well. For an experienced guy he should have known better. The less said about Mark Brown the better. Don't know why we waste the money. Hopefully just a blip and a long long way to go. Hopefully things will start to turn round.
  13. I've not been keeping up with all the news so sorry if this has been covered but why would there be comp involved?
  14. Don't you go and put logic into this. Some fans are happy believing the club is constantly in crisis.
  15. Great goal by Thomson. If he keeps that up all season that would be great. As others have said we need another stricker but I still hold out hope in McCallum as well. What we're people's thoughts on the Motherwell boys? If it was pretty much a development squad, anyone standout that we could take on loan?
  16. First reaction to the strips and this is only by the pic on the site. Home top is simple but nice. Away top, WTF is that. Maybe it will grow on me 🤔

  18. Could it be to do with the passing of Ali? Probably nothing to do with it but just a thought
  19. “Both Dumbarton and Greenock have identical latitudes, but Dumbarton are clearly north of the River Clyde whilst Morton are equally clearly situated south of it. This led to the logical decision to place Dumbarton in the north pool and Morton in the south pool.†Pulled this from the article in the sun. You couldn't make this shit up. No wonder the game in Scotland isn't that great. It's run by a bunch of idiots
  20. Maybe but even if the manager wasn't interested in moving. It cold look have looked bad on the club if we flat out say no. Would look like we are blocking the manager. If we give permission then we set out our position and say this is how much comp we want and if they are happy with it's in the managers hands. What I would hope is if the manger wants to chat to them we give him a time frame. We don't want/ can't afford for this to drag on.
  21. That was one hell of a game. We have a lot to thank Shay for. I remember standing at the corner to the right of him. Kicking every ball Most nervous I have been at a game.
  22. Good start. Now anyone seen the rest of the team anywhere?
  23. Is one of them Willie Gibson? Maybe him going back to Stranraer was all part of a master plan. He goes back to bring another PT team into the league to help us next year? ðŸ˜
  24. I'm no expert on football but I have always though our preseason friendlies have always been poorly organised in relation to the teams we play. Yes they may give some match fitness but I have always thought we should start with lower opposition then build to tougher. For as many years as I can remember we have just played local teams or a team we have a deal with
