I agree, I don’t see any reason why we can’t offer some new deals before the season ends. You can put clauses it it regarding promotion, staying in the same league etc I don’t think the panic approach is something we need to accept. Other teams our size have parts of the team signed up before the season is done. it could also help with momentum as some might look at it and think if I play well I can get a new deal as well.

The GK is a hard one. I remember the playoff at Arbroath where big shay stopped everything, making phenomenal save after phenomenal save and I still think that was one of the driving forces that got us up. Martin was great during his time here but became a numpty in the end. Rodgers, was a great young talent. Ewing made some important sub appearances.

I wasn’t at the game but seeing the highlights, love Laynes first goal. Being on his toes to follow up on the rebound is something we have missed in our strikers for a while. Great to see and hope it continues

I’m sure he was great in his time but really don’t rate Chick Young, also hate the line about “you have to remember Jim had no players at the start of the season” Jim had players, some decided to stay and others left for varying reasons he didn’t start with nothing.

We had a terrible start to the season and it was looking bleak. Then the last two games we seem to have turned a corner, came from behind, got the point and are starting to play some good football. Come on P&B to see what people are saying and we’re back to the Drum chat. Give us peace, move on and enjoy that we won and put in a decent performance.

I have to say I though Crawford had a pretty torrid time yesterday as well. Keep reminding myself he’s still young so hopefully he will develop as the season continues. I didnt think Quitingo was actually that bad. Yes some bad passing and ball control at times but definitely think there is a player in there.

I would be very surprised if he did return. BUT Imagine he did a Rory Mcalistair and decided his work outside football was more profitable and was happy to go PT and just sit ripping up the lower leagues for us and become a true Legend. Ahh you can but dream.

100% agree. We should be utilising social media more. Look at getting permanent signs on the back road. ASDA, Morrisons and also at the stations. Keep the club in people thoughts it may help to improve attendance.

Yeh the manager fund needs to go through the trust or third party to stop brabco from getting there hands on it. it seems that the people helping the club were stretched so thin that something had to give and go on the back burner and that was one of them. It sound crazy as you would think it would have helped with the squad but they seemed to be dealing with more pressing issues such as getting the trust structure fixed.

1st off who ever deals with our stewards wants the sack. Laughable pulling up to the ground and being asked if I’m here for the football. The car park pliée mario kart with all the cones. Then tonight’s pregame antics with closing off the yellow section beside the tunnel “to be a buffer between the fans” then to use it and watch them like bumbling idiots trying to organise it. Makes us look very amateurish. On to the game, two defensive errors again, although linesman f@%ked it putting the flag up then down. Didnt think we were terrible. Think Quitongo has something about him, PJs good, although long high balls are wasted on him. light up front and light at centre back hopefully something can happen in the next week or so.

In case anyone hasn’t noticed Connah’ Quay beat Kilmarnock. Still scared from the time they played us at home, genuinely think they were one of the worst teams I have even seen but my how times have changed.

It’s a shame and theses things can happen. I mean fair play to Andy Little, he felt he couldn’t play so retired. Loy seems to be happy to sit and take the cash. There is arguments for and against but I don’t see why the club don’t then use Loy for other things. His back might be gubbed but surely we could use him for coaching, scouting, stuff on match days, stuff in the community etc rather than just sitting taking a wage.

Is Loy just crocked full stop and that’s It or is there any chance of him coming back?

Seems that way but you need to remember we are playing much bigger teams that us.

Yeh just seen the thread TBF I read it as Every home game as well, including cups etc. If that is the case and the vast majority of people signed up thought that then the club should honour it this season then next season make sure their wording is correct.

TBF he may live closer to that area, plus say we offered him a deal and they are deciding to splash the cash and offer him silly money ( for our level) he probably knows he isn’t going to hit the big time so just out to make as much money as possible from it.

Exit trials are happening at Stirling Albion’s ground. The manager is supposedly there.
