  1. Fair play to City they did exactly what was needed against a push poor side. Stranger made an error for the first goal (error 36 I believe) but I felt sorry for him for the rest of the game, basically playing as a solo CB as Buchanan wandered around marking shadows and putting his hand up to say sorry I put the ball out (muppet) Manager again showed he has no, well management skills by making two random subs at HT. Pure guess work for those subs. Oh and special mention to Orsi’s Mrs for having a go at me for slagging her man only to up and leave after the 4 goal went in - lol
  2. Absolutely pathetic. At one point while a city player was down our team were arguing amongst themselves how many strikers city were playing with. Brutal
  3. Do we need to purchase tickets ahead of time or can you Patg? Also stand Vs ground ticket. Is the stand any good?
  4. I was told it was now at 35 individual errors this season. Yes the pitch has been shit and that has maybe not helped the situation but that’s not the reason we been shit. Past it players, players with no confidence and a manager than managed like it’s it’s first time playing football manager is the reason we are where we are. Yesterday was the perfect example. 1 up and we didn’t know what to do. Defender injured and we bring on a midfielder, while defenders on the bench.(Baffling)
  5. I mentioned this on the other thread. I was there yesterday as a hanger on. We were in a box not the stand…. So unless the guy is meaning 20odd mins after the game when he was leaving the stadium then fair enough but it seems strange.
  6. That’s weird as all the directors and hangers on (me) were in a box today and not in the stand…
  7. I love a day out at Alloa At 82 minutes I was seathing at how they sat back playing for a draw and they loose a goal (great goal btw) we’ll that’s us in the relegation playoffs then. Fast forward 13mins later we walked away with 3 points. The drive and determination from the guys in the last 10mins is exactly what we needed for 90mins. I hope to god the two goals today give Duthie some confidence in front of goal. He has the pace and can beat a man but Christ his crossing and shooting need work or confidence. The GK gets credit for a couple of good saves and Stranger looked good again. Was full of hope today the the female ref would show up all the men and be good, sadly it wasn’t to be and she is just as bad as the rest. We have given ourself a chance but next week is the big test, we need to turn up and win. Good luck for the rest of the season Alloa, love an away day there.
  8. It just feels weird to have Farrell there tonight, dare I say it’s almost Barry Ferguson type behaviour. Meet the manager type events are good at the start of the season/end. Not when your on a terrible run and flinging excuses out left right and centre. He should do his talking on the touch line/dressing room rather than in a room full of fans IMO.
  9. He took his time for sure but we could have played all day and not scored. We basically missed an open goal Terrible as always. Definitely has wee man syndrome. Both him and his assistants missed a arm/punch to the back of the head to our striker. Gave throwing the wrong way. Was gaging to give a penalty and ignored our players pointing out the big chuck in the ground where the player was taken out was outside the box. Only positive is that he may have got the red card right.
  10. Today really cemented it for me the manager should go. For whatever reason Montrose never turned up today and half way through the game we should have recognised this and used our sub effectively to win the game. Instead we waiting until 70 odd minutes to make a change. Just terrible game management.
  11. I don’t think the SFA is against you. I think we just have terrible refs and assistants. It’s rare to see a good one. You’re right we were dire yesterday but I would give you a little credit for taking the two goals but that’s it. You lot looked awful as well. A semi decent team should have put 4/5 past us yesterday. We gifted you a goal and then you managed to score one on your own.
  12. I see on the match thread that the haggis bearer for the trusts Burns night is the Manager. That won’t be awkward at all after another pumping today
  13. Time for the Manager to go, it’s that simple. I think in this case using the ownership and board situations are just excuses for the team. I don’t believe we had the biggest budget in the league but also don’t think the smallest. Farrell came in and as far as we all know he got the players he wanted and was backed by giving a few players 2 year contracts. The first 10 games or so we looked great and then from then on guff. The players have to take responsibility but for me it all falls at the manager feet. Our discipline has been shocking. Some players are sadly clearly done (Boyle) yet continue to be played. Ramsey looked like a real player at the start of the season now he looks like a shadow of himself. Attitude after loosing a goal, real school boy stuff. our “senior” players are only that by age. Not one is showing it with experience. our game plan and management seems non existent. That interview with Farrell is just sad. He looks like a broken man with no Idea what to do. If he doesn’t have the gumption to go now then the board have the step up.
  14. Only Dumbarton I have seen games off when the weather looks fine and then we have today where the weather has been terrible and it’s on. Fair play though, I look forward to the mud bath.
  15. I fully expect the game to be off today.
  16. There is a lot of IFs in the prematch ramble on the website haha
  17. I might be wrong in this but I would say the majority of our kit sales come from supports who “just buy one every year” and the collectors. That being the case I don’t see why the club don’t just pick a design and keep it for 2/3 years minimum and just change the sponsors each year, if needed. Constantly changing designs every year is a modern fad that works for big teams in most cases but I just don’t think it works for smaller teams.
  18. The result yesterday was great but still a couple of issues for me. We came out the traps flying and where into everything, which resulted in the three goals but by HT we should really have been ahead by a couple more. Then in the second half we sat back inviting Clyde on to us, I know we could keep the fast pace up for 90 but still. Secondly IMO the manager didn’t utilise his subs well. You could see some of the guys were knackered after 70 and we only made 2 subs and one of them was around 90 to run down the clock. I don’t want to sound to negative but still areas to work on. If we can get a result in the next two games we will be in a great position for the rest of the season.
  19. I feel for you guys as I always think Dumbarton and Alloa are similar. Love a game at the Rec Hopefully we will do you a favour and beat you next week and that will push your board over the edge just like Hartley.
  20. Yeh was sat in front of them, broken seats and a flare Which is so annoying as they were so vocal and supportive of the team. Just need to weed out the idiots.
  21. I have to agree. Surely this isn’t the design? I would have thought we would have done something similar to Tottenham and removed to outer badge and had the elephant with words around it.
  22. I was just saying this today. If he adds goals he’ll be great.
  23. It’s pretty simple. Play the ball on the deck, no long high balls and it should be alright. Play high balls etc then your asking for trouble.
  24. Great picture. Was the yellow section to the right side closed off or Dundee didn’t take up the tickets?
  25. If we could punt Boyle then I would bring Rico in. Sadly I don’t think Boyle is going anywhere.
