  1. Thought we might have kept it like the maroon kit that sometimes got an outing.
  2. I assume with the colours of the new strips this year, that the blue one from last year will become our third strip this season?
  3. Any idea when the new strips are being revealed? I'd be more than happy to model one of them in a similar manner as the Ayr Utd kit launch. I imagine that they would sell out in minutes.
  4. Probably on the same coaching course that Andy Graham was on recently. If so hopefully Andy has had a word and told him to join.
  5. We had Colin Hamilton at left back who was constantly exposed. Fair play to him as he has found his level with Arbroath. He looked consistent anytime I seen him play last year. Sent from my G3311 using Pie and Bovril mobile app
  6. Lost 8-2. Trailing 2-0 at half time with our keeper sent off. St Johnstone come out after time and get two goals in the opening two minutes of the second half. St Johnstone showed why they are league champions and put us to the sword to complete a league and cup double. Seemed that any chance they got they scored and we missed any chance we got. We hit the bar in the opening minute and probably the better side going into half time. Regardless of the result I'm proud of the lads and how far we've come in such a short period of time. Also had a great laugh at our player of the year night last night in The Station. Best thing about football is that there is always next year... Mon The Wasps! 7. Just a reminder that the supporters team wrap up their season tomorrow in the Scottish Cup final v St Johnstone. 10am kick off at New Central Park, Kelty if anyone is after a summer football fix. Sent from my G3311 using Pie and Bovril mobile app
  8. I have a hunch that Pendle will be supplying the kits again next season...

  10. Springbank and Glengyle are both on the same grounds. We done both distilleries on Friday as our ferry to Islay was cancelled and we had time to kill until the 6pm ferry later on at night. Tour was £12 for both distilleries and got a couple of drams and miniatures afterwards. Takes a bit longer than usual as it's two distilleries in the one tour. That was a great weekend just past. Springbank and Glengyle on the Friday and Bowmore, lunch at Ardbeg and then Laphroaig on the Saturday. Springbank and Corryveckan probably the two best drams of the weekend and bought a bottle of Bunnahabhain 13 yo marsala finish on the Sunday as we stopped in for a quick visit before we got the ferry home. Had a taster of the 13 yo marsala finish in the gift shop and it was outstanding.
  11. The only thing that let's down pendle is the printing from the MTE sponsor era onwards. Material of the tops are ok just expect the sponsors to fade.
  12. Doubt that will happen. Home tie first suited us v Raith. Play our attacking game on a good surface before having to deal with a tattie field in the return leg. Hard game regardless of how we set up. May the best team win.
  13. It was the swat team in 2014... I got voted in as a shop steward last year and it's been an eye opener in terms of naff sayings.
  14. Cheers. We will do our best and are up for it but we are also under no illusions of how hard it will be. St Johnstone are one of the best teams about just now. British Cup runners up and Scottish league winners last year and currently sitting top of the Scottish league, in the semi finals of the British Cup and (obviously) the final of the Scottish Cup this year. Much like the first team this year we have the habit of coming back from behind and pulling off results but also like the first team we are also capable of having days where we just don't get going. Got to be in it to win it though [emoji219]
  15. Tidy wee ground they have and a good artificial surface. Also an ideal location for both teams. It would be nice to see a few Wasps come along and cheer us on.
  16. *Scottish Cup Final* The Scottish Cup Final between ourselves and St Johnstone has been confirmed for the 9th of June at New Central Park, Kelty with a 10am kick off. [emoji219]
  17. I think we will go up. Our record against the better teams in the league has been good. Hopefully this comes across in the right manner but at least we are going into the play offs fighting and not playing testimonial football like this time last year. We came up against an Airdrie and Brechin side who were in a similar position to ourselves this season and struggled.
  18. I'd hate to move the cup finals and national team to Murrayfield and give the rugby wanks more money. Also you are still some distance away from the pitch at Murrayfield. I might be in the minority but I like Hampden and still dream of Alloa having a day in the sunshine there at the end of May. Granted it's not the most easily accesed places on public transport or car but when you are in amongst the limbs flying about for a goal like below it's the last thing on your mind. https://youtu.be/hzgtIEE7SQQ
  19. Still awaiting for the outcome of the other semi final between St Johnstone and Ayr Utd
  20. The supporters team are into the final of the Scottish Cup after fighting from 3-1 down on Saturday to win 4-3 in the final minute with an overhead kick. We play the winner of St Johnstone and Ayr Utd in the final.
  21. If you are stuck at a loose end on Saturday then the supporters team are in action down the West End Park. We face Livi GS in the semi final of the Scottish Cup, 10am kick off. Massive game for us against very strong opposition.
