  1. Not connected with the big three but good to hear Darlington will play their first game back in the town on Boxing Day after they announced the FA had inspected their new ground and it was fit to go.
  2. Watching that tonight it's a big job for whoever comes in especially in the way the team floundered late on. There will be plenty interest in the post. It's a well run club, ideally situated for player recruitment for both the east and west coast. Michael Chopra has thrown his hat into the ring, I'm not sure about that one. Granted he'll have a few contacts who might loan him a few players but can Alloa afford to take a chance on a rookie manager like Chopra. Ok it worked under Hartley, is it time for a safe pair of hands likes of Grant Murray, John McGlynn, Billy Reid or Jim Jeffries
  3. Been reading about his Crawley exploits in one of their former player's autobiography recently. Don Revie will be turning in his grave with this appointment. Just how low can things go at Leeds off the park and on it. Pains me to say it will get worse before it gets better.
  4. Listened to both parts today and really enjoyed it. Looking forward to more hopefully. The Beast was good crack and pretty frank. Be good to get Paul Martin on soon.
  5. Thought the Pars looked good forward and dominated the second half.
  6. One way is if you someone who has disabled blue badge/permit just ask them their details then reply to the ticket and you won't hear anything more. A lot of posters are right with the parking eye just ignore them and you tend not to hear anymore about it
  7. Sheerin is definitely worth a look. Very direct, strong and knows exactly where the net is. He's very much a dying breed in the terms of a powerful striker.
  8. I heard that too about a month ago he had been interviewed.
  9. Cheers guys. Cant seem to find it on Amazon. Ill keep my eyes peeled
  10. Away from Rankine. Can you Livi lads shed any light on a book written by Bill Hunter about the move to Livingston from Meadowbank. Nothing coming up on Amazon.
  11. Nice little treble on Fiorentina, Inter & Besiktas. £43 back for a £5 stake
  12. Carlisle's a great ground. Not been back since Jimmy Glass scored that dramatic last winner to keep them in the league back in 1999.
  13. A good weekend for me. £49 back for £5 stake on Hibs, Luton Town, Queen's Park & PNE. Today a cheeky £3 on Spurs to beat Everton 2-1 which brought me £25-50 back.
  14. £5 stake on Bournemouth, Luton & Cambridge United. £54 back
  15. £95 & coppers back for a £5 punt on Bolton Wanderers, Bristol City & WHU.
  16. Just watched the Rankine footage. Was almost waiting for Jeremy Beadle to jump out at one stage
  17. £5 on Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea & Albion Rovers. £32-23 back.
  18. Took a cheeky 9-1 bet in play on St Mirren to draw with Aberdeen. £20 back.
  19. Seems like an enternity since I posted in here. £5 on the games at Arsenal Liverpool Clyde Forfar Athletic Ayr United & Blackburn Rovers all btts
  20. Thought the Students were well worth their point. Nice set up and that's three LL games I've seen in the past two weeks and I've been impressed with the standard too. Must make more of an effort to get to a few more games in this league. Good crowd there too. I didn't know Neil Irvine was back coaching the University.
  21. Seen Edinburgh University are at home on Wednesday night. I'm sure they played Hurlford United in a Scottish Cup Replay at Preston Athletic's New Pennypit Stadium. Are they playing league games there or was it just a one-off
  22. Sad to see it but Leeds fans look to be in for a bumpy ride this season. You almost feel sorry Hockaday but he seems out of his depth.
  23. £5 on Bradford to beat Leeds 2-1. 1st win of the season so far.
