  1. Stream is nearly unwatchable for me. Stop start af.
  2. I know when you have multiple dugs it's not the done thing to have a favourite but come on...
  3. I've watched the highlights a few times and I'm still trying to work out what the Cove defence are claiming for at our second goal.
  4. Just fucking magic! Spoiled slightly by Tom Lang having to partially cover that stunning face for a wee while. We are such a professional outfit this year it's unreal. Ten goals scored and none conceded in our last three games.
  5. There's the Burrell we knew and never loved.
  6. They had one early on where the no 4 blasted it well wide.
  7. I remember when I was very young my dad got my mum an exercise bike for Christmas. Even 4yo me was thinking "Really dad?! A fucking exercise bike?!". They're still together so I assume she told him that she wanted one.
  8. I'm not falling for that one again!
  9. At least that's somewhat practical. My upbringing of being taught to be grateful for any gift prevents me from naming anything specific, but by f**k I got thoroughly sick of having to find space in my house for random crap that served no obvious purpose aside from coaxing a small laugh when it's first opened. Luckily my family and friends pretty much have taste and sense.
  10. Took the tiny terrierist to flyball training today. Millie will not be competing in flyball at any point I don't think.
  11. God yes, my first experience of him was watching him in an episode of QI in which he managed to make the rest of the cast (which included Ross Noble) look like Stephen fucking Hawking.
  12. Things you love to see. Eight points clear of our nearest challengers with the same number of games played. In the last 4 games we've scored 12 and conceded 1. Get in!
  13. A very unselfish player who is only too happy to put in a square ball I hear.
  14. Luckily Skye just has a minor cough so has meds to try and clear it up. I wasn't far off with my excess - 1p prediction. We have also found out she is a full kilo and a half heavier than when we were last at the vets so she is now on a new year's diet. Took her a walk with Millie today and we met a chap with an 8mo rottie that was desperate for a good play. Millie obliged and nearly ran the poor thing into the ground. Skye initially did her wee "play hops" then realised she was in over her head and ran away.
  15. What RH33 says, their drive to chase and kill small animals (not necessarily limited to squirrels and bunnies) is insanely high. The ones that have been used for racing are trained to chase a lure that is meant to resemble a rabbit. Someone near us got their Yorkshire terrier back in a few pieces after it ran up to a pair of them that were being walked on a lead but weren't muzzled.
  16. Was wondering the same, no one seems to bat an eye when they see greyhounds being walked on a lead while muzzled. Surely if you had any sort of love for your dog you'd simply comply with the regs rather than give it up to god knows who from f**k knows where.
  17. There are bins on the way out the doors in the south stand. It's not out of the question for folk to lift their litter and pop it in the bin on their way out.
  18. The vets we use is the only independent one in Falkirk now I think. I've deffo found them to be quite expensive for the basics that we tend to wind up needing a lot of but then we've also had a few instances whereby we've had exotic animals that potentially could have been milked for a lot of expensive diagnostics that weren't and wound up being fixed with a "f**k it, lets see if this antibiotic sorts it.". They're also the only local place to do their own out of hours service so I kind of see it as an acceptable trade-off. Their practice and equipment is also state of the art compared to a few other practices I've been in. We've also been in the situation with Jake whereby his insurance went up to something like £75 a month when we'd put in no claims for him so we wound up cancelling it and started saving. He wound up being diagnosed with his cancer a couple of months after and the associated drugs were coming in at something like £350 a month for which we just had to suck up and pay. The vets were good though and when he was put to sleep shortly after being issued with his month's supply they took the drugs back off us and credited our account for them. Skye will need to go in tomorrow as she has developed a cough, I'm expecting her to rack up a bill that's about 1p less than her insurance excess.
  19. Millie (2yo) is about £25 on petplan. Morse (4yo) is £22 with another company and Skye (14yo) is £50 with P@H. This is all per month. Honestly thinking of ditching Morse and Millie's policies and saving £100 or so a month if I'm honest as neither if them have had any claims.
  20. Here's to all the fellow bairns! Here's to more wins in 2024! Here's to hopefully making it out League 1 at the end of the season. Here's to P&B continuing to be plastered in targetted ads featuring the sexiest centre-half in the league.
  21. Did someone order a dark, handsome stranger as a first foot? Happy new year all!
