I think Season 8 just about beats out Season 6 as worst Dexter season. As time rolls on I'd like to think I'll just forget 6 7 and 8 ever happened, instead recalling the earlier editions - in particular s4; some of the greatest TV I've ever encountered.

Well ArcTanGent festival was a stonker. Very slickly run given it's their inaugural year. On the bands front And So I Watch You From Afar smashed it as usual and there were fine performances from Bossk,f**k Buttons, 65 Days and Maybeshewill. Looking forward to the 2014 edition.

Not surprised to see McNiff away, definitely not good enough for our current position although it's always a shame to see a youth dev player fail to make the grade. His doddling on the ball was infuriating at times. Contrastingly you wonder what Morton see in Tony Wallace. I wouldn't have rated him as being much better than Martin.

Can only echo what's already been said re this season. It's been shite frankly, filled with so many pointless scenes. At the moment I'd even rate Season 6 ahead of it whilst the likes of Season 4 is miles in front.
