dont see anything wrong with the cathouse photos, it is an alternative club with a lot of folk that like to dress differently and yes quite a few of the ladies are BBW but it is far better than your usual ned dive, never any bother and most of the ladies that frequent the place are lovely

surprised there has been no mention to fraoch heather ale, lovely light ale, can smell the heather flowers in it. gorgeous other favorites are Deuchars IPA (great session ale) anything from wytchwood and harvieston bitter & twisted

think I am having a midlife crisis here, was in weedgieland hmv and camed away with Best of Girlschool and best of UFO, think Girlschool are a band you have to like in your late 30's as they are a female version of motorhead and are still babes today, UFO are and always will be immense the guitars of Michael Schenker (sp) made maiden look good. Also it has taken 30 odd years but Steve Harris from maiden is releasing a solo album last month, would I be right in assuming it will be an album full of epics that Bruse wouldnt sing. Either way Steve is still the best songwriting bassist ever also ordered a new biker leather jacket with loads of fringes and tassles, 1980 never died lol

talk to pat snr and he will fill you in about when the park ran the opposite way, there used to be a stand but it got burned to the ground when the navy (who had requisitioned WP for the war effort) used petrol instead of water to put a brazier out. also the boundary wall of the ground is made from the bricks that used to protect the tanks at the refinery, the club got a load of them and a squad of young lads (my late dad included) chipped the old cement off so they could be reused. the land at the winton court end was originally a plant nursery and was donated to the club, presumably the landowner made his money when he sold the land to the council to build winton court. The old shed at that end was built by the shipyard apprentices as it was built long before the stand. Still miss that shed though but i know the steelwork was rotten as it was only painted twice in 50 years
