Had about 3hrs sleep and still totally buzzing. What an atmosphere for the 90! Such a difference seeing us battle for every ball. McMullan bullying Akinyemi off the ball was a highlight for me. Minter for the big man. The game had everything and felt comfortable even down to 10 men.

Probably asking a stupid question here, but what is the difference between the west stand and railway end? See both advertised on your website for away fans but is the railway end not the west side of the ground if that large area of terracing you’re saying is the north?

McGinn was absolutely shite first game of the season against Partick and rightly hooked. Bowyer was going mental at him for standing and watching instead of closing down a defender, at which point McGinn “broke” into a slow jog before back to walking when the ball was cleared. He repeated that till he was subbed.

Ashcroft or McGhee MOTM imo. Robinson didn’t have a good game before going off injured but did have two men on him all the time. Thought Byrne was fairly anonymous, along with the rest of the midfield. Sheridan rightly taken off at half time. Osei seemed a bit of a haddy when he came on too. An ugly win where the defence bailed us out . Williamson and Rudden put themselves about well, which is great to see. Accies were very unlucky with that sweet strike that came off both posts too.
