  1. I think most teams in this division would have him if i'm honest, i'm just glad he's still with us for the time being.
  2. No mate, we're not. I'm just feeling a little perplexed as to why we do well one week, and balls it up the next. I wouldn't mind so much if we scrapped a defeat instead of giving up, i hope you know what i mean.
  3. I take it Davie McGurn is the only part timer left? I thought the notion of us being a mix of pt and ft was the way forward.
  4. Ok clown shoes, my post was so serious. Whats you're prognosis then brainbox?
  5. Thats my thoughts on it too. I thinks its because McGlynn's been told not to win so much, and unfortunately Partick came out of the box of who we win against and who we get reemed by. Ooh the conspiracy.
  6. Excellent post, especially this part. I laugh when i hear people say this, you can't honestly say this team are better than the team that nearly got us promoted in a far stronger league last season. I'd like to know what part of our game have we improved from last season.
  7. Don't get me wrong, i'm not a perrenial complainer. But its turning out to be a joke, whats the board doing to change things.........Sweet f**k All, and will be happy to see us go down, "as first division football is unsustainable". Apparently.
  8. Aye mate, stick your head in the sand. I have seen us 5 times now, and i have seen nothing to suggest that we're remotely trying. At home especially. Getting pumped by QoS was the worst i have witnessed since the A****a pish. I blame the board for the utter negativity at the club i've supported for more than 35 years
  9. He's only as potent as the service he receives, we can't afford to replace him. We're on a downward spiral mate, and it doesn't seem fair to let the boy stagnate in a team where relegation is inevitable, its what the board want after all.
  10. Best thing we can do is let wee Bairdy go in the new year window, he's suffering in a team of no hopers. Have i went too far, no i don't think so.
  11. A lot of pish. This team isn't half the team from last season, we're weaker in every department. The performances show you this.
  12. Precisely my point, the player cull was too extreme. We had some talented youngsters coming through, McKechnie and Brown being the prime examples. Gone. Simmons, Campbell, Wilson, Tade and Ferry gone. We replaced them with second rate shite. we are in a relegation dogfight now whether we like it or not. We have to have some parity with away performances and the shite home performances. Its fucking Dougie Cameron and Clydebank all over again.
  13. The way things are going we might be heading back there very soon, we can't afford first division football and the players are showing no desire to play in it either. £17 to watch utter pish isn't going to get the punters back in a hurry. Sad but very true.
  14. I never ever thought i'd be on this thread, but i've just found out that my lass is pregnant. Its still very early, she reckons 5 weeks. But i'm so happy and will keep you all updated :) . And no i won't be a grandad haha. Although i'm 41, i feel young and alive. My girlfriend is amazing :)
  15. So i take it, its all doom and gloom up at San Starko. Here we go again. Quinny, get those begging bowls ready
  16. So i take it, its all doom and gloom down old Starks park way again. Lovely.
  17. Sparky was a threat at corners, and got his fair share of goals. Who in our current line up will do that this season? I'm thinking..........No one.
  18. Was it though, this was one of two mistakes McGlynn made. The other being Sparky imo.
  19. Can't we not talk about the positives, we're passing the ball instead of the hoofball and thats very pleasing. Its only preseason Big Berk, its about fitness.
  20. What part of Yorkshire are you? Apparently there's quite a few of us, we should start a Scots in Yorkshire alliance. HaHa.

  21. It'll be a good test, i promised some of my mates i'd be up for some of these friendlies. But work seems to be winning.
