Lewis Toshney has the ability to play in the top flight. He did so comfortably for us. Unfortunately he's made of chocolate and its hampered his progression, perhaps irreparably. He'll be the next Callum Morris.

I'm torn on this gorgeous Greg situation tbh. £1million considering his contract length is not to be sniffed at. If it's cash up front it's almost a no brainer if he's adamant he won't re-sign. Then again I don't think we could adequately replace him immediately on our budget - even with a bit more cash to play with. We would then lose him for nothing and risk him playing within himself for the upcoming season. I'll have mixed emotions either way I suspect. If he does leave that's a huge amount of assists we've lost between him and McGinn....

Na, he's a player. Unfortunately it's not worked out due to injuries. Speaking to the Sheep at work today and they reckon he's better than Cammy Smith for example and that he would have made it at the Dons but for injuries. Shame for the lad but I agree we need to cut our losses if this season goes the same way. He'd have a year left on his deal and isn't a particularly high earner so wouldn't be too expensive to release, particularly if another club express an interest in taking him for free.

My Dundee FC season ticket number is 6432. We've not sold near that amount. I'd imagine Saints are in the same position.

I stand by it. He's our best player. I'd rather lose him for f**k all and keep him for a year. If you only want boys who are desperate to play for Dundee then you're left with a squad of 2 in Wighton and Kerr - even them if they kick on and a Celtic/English team vine calling you won't see them for dust. This time next season Bain and Henmings will be doing the exact same as Greg is now. All players are the same - they chase the money. If you're going to take it personally and get bent out of shape every time a player shows he's not "Dundee minded" you're in for a lifetime of disappointment.

You're shopping for players like Morris - I'm not worried about your gaffer recognising Stewart's ability.He'll probably snap up Henri Anier or Ryan Dow instead.

No thank you. I quite like Aberdeen and working in the city I've got a decent relationship with a few Dandies. It was one of them who told me of the signing. He had his head in his hands at the time. I'd like to see you (anyone but Utd tbh) push to split the OF/ win the league and you'd made a fist of it the past couple of seasons but signings like this indicate those days could be numbered. It's a genuinely baffling move for a team of Aberdeens current quality/aspirations to sign a crock centre half from a relegated team renowned for a shocking defence. He is a shite Ash Taylor lads.

I'd genuinely rather sign a Dutch amatuer than Callum Morris. One is unproven at this level, the other is proven shite at this level, when he is fit. An absolute minter of a signing. Enjoy.

So what do we need then? RB IMO - happy for Cammy to feature fairy regularly but need back up/competition if Sid goes. Would be happy to keep McGinn as first choice tbh - lots of assists and improving every season. CM - A big, hairy arsed centre midfielder please and thank you. Hold onto Stewart and Hemmings and that's it for me. Either of the above will need replaced if we lose them.

Paul Paton has limited intelligence and ability. A perfect fit for the farmers. He's a good squad player for you IMO.
