  1. Rangers and Celtic are going to pump money into the lower leagues Why are you all against it.....laughable
  2. And what's your plan apart from being a little kid on these forums
  3. Colts is still a fantastic idea. We need to improve the development of youngsters and keep them in the same environment as their senior counterparts. The Colts can be 18-23 (Plus 1 player overage) Smaller clubs would also benefit as they will have ready made players who are released as these players would have more experience playing in the Scottish Lower Levels then previously before Scottish Football must swallow its pride and embrace this fantastic and forward thinking plan. The Scottish Youth/Senior teams would benefit better in time with their development.
  4. MR Man's plan - Abolish Junior Football That is all, its old and very pointless for 2020.
  5. Rangers and Celtic deserve to bypass potential small sides and have a break for their quest for the title I back this
  6. Hearing this will be the case next year to ease fixture congestion & ensure more rest for the better teams Good idea if true
  7. Love the idea. Time to abolish Junior football its too bigoted for 2020
  8. Would prefer this Draw to be seeded. Ensure Celtic & Rangers have an away tie at a minnow
  9. In an ideal world (I'm a massive fan of this format) But its not for everyone. All 30 sides in the (Championship, L1, L2) 33 Sides from Highland & Lowland 1 Side invite (Junior side) or a team as a bye Simples
  10. Yes Better Still hasnt changed my mind
  11. Great to see the Scottish Cup grow. Years ago its was only 48 teams that were in it
  12. Great to see many of the Under 21 sides getting through, Its important for the development of top level & international football that these kids are given some valuable game time within their club environment for them to progress onto the next level. It does take time though Attendances are to blame for the club not the colt sides,
  13. This is an exciting competition. Love the idea of Highland/Lowland teams vs Under 21. An exciting precursor to when the PL teams have B sides involved in the leagues
  14. I would be embarrassed about Last Night going out to a weak youth team
  15. Easiest way of doing the Pyramid Highland & Lowland (Tier 5) North, East & West (Tier 6) Feeders below
  16. Whats the point of Junior Football in the 21st Century. Clubs in the past have had no ambition or wanted to be big fish in small ponds while their supporters boasted about attendances like it really meant something, and the Senior Club supports just laughed and carried on with more ambition. Senior Clubs and Admins have always been good to their Junior counterparts, Open to join their leagues, Scottish Cup, Extra money via sponsorships. Now the SJFA have been dinosaurs for years have finally realised that the country and time has progressed and they are rushing to join in... and still some clubs are not playing ball. East and West of Scotland leagues which could happen or increase in the next 2 years will be a postive and major thing to happen to the development of Scottish Football. And i cannot wait for the day it happens. Junior Football should have died in the 1990s.
  17. Exciting times for the East of Scotland League
  18. I salute the clubs who have the balls and ambition to be making a move to the East of Scotland League. 2 divisions of 16 will be interesting and exciting and the junior clubs will not regret it. Hope that the SFA will give them a cash reward as a thank you Junior set up is old, past it and very bigoted. They wanted their cake and eat it and did so. The Junior Cup can remain in the pyramid it can be packaged better and could become like the FA Trophy in England
  19. They should not be able to play in the Scottish Cup
  20. Personally if no junior team wants in to the pyramid then the SFA should fine them and if it forces them to go under..... who cares as horrible as that may sound Junior football is from a bygone era. Sure it had its purpose then, it doesn’t now and it’s not going to come back and the bigots who are involved in it belong in the past too We need to evolve and get better, scraping the juniors will be just the start
  21. Both have done excellent jobs and work is still taking shape
