Hope Hibs will make a bid too and Enter their B Team
Like to see Dundee United/Dundee involved in the Midlands possibly. Aberdeen, Inverness in the Highland or North League would be good
Guys drink it in. Development in lower leagues is now the future and for the amount of dislikes that this post will get with your anger its not changing

Another nail in the joke Lowland League coffin. Take away the play-off place for that league from next season.
It's improving the standard of the League. Its exciting times for Scottish Football and you will see that

The administrative side shouldn't be underestimated obviously but if the will is there to put all the work in it can be done at that point unlike with the ground on something like floodlights. Think in Montrose Roselea's case there have been indications either on here or in the media that the will isn't there to push things further as things stand at the moment because Montrose is a relatively small town and already has an SPFL club.
You appear to know sod all lad

The Lossie United one is legit, although I was told the boy behind the rest had wanted to do the same with LUJFC, whatever it is he’s doing.
Hope United become bigger and better then Lossiemouth...Boy would you be crying

Surely it's time to abolish all the regional cups or at least downsize them and just have a big national (Non-League) trophy
Featuring
- Highland League (18 Teams)
- Lowland League (16 Teams)- No Rangers & Celtic B teams
- Midland League (19 Teams)
- North Caledonian League (11 teams)
- Northern Superleague (14 teams)
- East of Scotland Football League (18 Teams)
- South of Scotland Football League (13 Teams)
- West of Scotland League (20 Teams)
- Northern First Division (8 Teams)
- Northern Second Division (9 Teams)
- East of Scotland First Division (30 Teams)
- West of Scotland Conferences (46 Teams)
- East of Scotland Conference X (11 Teams)
- West Of Scotland 4th Tier (8 Teams)
223 Teams would be involved. Of course this will create 8 dates but will be doable as they could use Midweek as well for the teams who have floodlights (Most should have these). Open Draw but ensure all Highland & Lowland League sides have a bye from the 1st round.
Deep down you will all want this to happen and it will create a massive amount of interest among all fans of these teams and this works really well in England for their FA Trophy and i believe that Wales have something similar and that i would assume be a success too. We could have fixtures like Brora Rangers vs Harmony Row & New Elgin Juniors vs East Kilbride
Final could be staged at Hampden and on the same weekend as the Scottish Cup (or even as a warm up event at 12pm?) get this on TV and it will showcase more sides below the Scottish Football League and increase brand awareness for these sides to be known across Britain and maybe the world too.
Aside from the dates its a no brainer and there should be ways to create this, Drive & Maximise interest and make it a firmer case for it to be in the scottish calender all year.

Get rid of the Groups and just have the 42 teams involved....No need for Highland/Lowland involvement
Have the 5 Euro teams into the Last 16. Before that play as 2 legs
So it would mean 37 teams involved in the 2 round qualification. for 11 places
Round 2: 22 Teams (11 ties) - 2 Legs
Round 1: 30 Teams (15 Ties), 7 Byes - 2 Legs
Easy and no need for dead matches

Would be good to see the North Caledonian League winners involved in the Scottish Cup.

I had heard that Cupar Hearts lost much of their talent to AM Soccer. Maybe a reason for them not applying. Although what better way to regain status and attract those players back than by applying to become the area's senior club.
I had read this article about Bonnyrigg having 300 season ticket holders and an average crowd of 600 or so
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/59262898
and thought some of those other places have the population to manage that also with their local teams.
Just wanted to say a big thanks to the folk on here who have persisted in arguing for the development of the senior pyramid. I am delighted with the way it is working and loving seeing the game being refreshed from the non league upwards.
Its the best thing that's happened in Scottish Football. Its brought good freshness to the game and clubs will also find their level in the future. Cove Rangers have been excellent

GB News is disgusting. It loves Terfs bashing Transgender people. It is also Pro-Putin and belittles Ukrainian people who are suffering. it also wants to get rid of Net Zero (Which will kill the planet) because all the presenters have a massive interest in companies which will not benefit from net-zero.

In all my 40+ years of watching Accies we have NEVER had a home crowd as low as that, not even a fixture at Firhill when there was an organised boycott. That was only about 170 tonight. And I'm glad it was that bad. Hopefully Saturday is the same. Not a penny more to that fucker McGowan.
As for the gloating Morton fan, bad as we are currently, we've had eleven seasons in the Premier since you were last there.
Considering you are already out of the Scottish Cup before anyone with a brain has began to put a Christmas Tree, You would have thought that Hamilton fans would take this seriously and get behind their team even after Saturday's debacle

Shame that Rangers B are out but what a great run, Players have got more experienced and the stars of the future will be found thanks to this concept.

Every team out the junior cup is a shocker though.
Even the North still has Dyce in it.
Its not a good league. Standard has dropped throughout the years

Who knows what goes on in the head of @mrman2011 , on Fitbanorth as well as here? Best just to pat his head and not pay the wee scamp too much attention.

"Asim" crying over negative posts. What a snowflake

But But you dont care for the cup so why are you moaning about getting knocked out to more talented youngsters

What a result. The B Team system is working and beginning to bear fruit, Beating Alloa is a good result. And i hope Rangers B win the SPFL Trust Trophy
Get the dislikes going lads

Bottom of League 2 deserves to be relegated. And the Winner of the Highland/Lowland Play off deserves to be promoted
No Play-offs

Celtic and Hearts B Teams in Lowland League?
in Lowland League
Posted
1) They need to get experience playing against Men in a physical match which obviously means something instead of Reserve/under 23 leagues which doesn't really serve. Players develop with more experience or with time. They cant be all "Good enough" to play 1st team that is such a lazy excuse designed to shut down this debate when its all credited across Europe that B Teams are the way to go for more pathway of younger players with their development
2) Celtic & Rangers B sides have under 21 players. If they don't make it they will have experience which will benefit the club they go to next thats a very good things for all clubs/parties concerned.
3) Yes thats how B Teams are worked out. People on this forum are very scared of this working and will go looking for excuses its rather silly and petty. Scottish Football will benefit at all levels from having a number of B Teams involved in the pyramid system.
