Visions of Newcastle's Saudi owners buying Blue Star, moving them to the East of Scotland league, and watching the best young players in South America and Africa rolling through the East of Scotland league. "Gonzalez with his 8th goal of the day against Tweedmouth in the big derby match"
And they can actually do that if they wish.

Only Rangers B left of the B Sides. I suggest you stop worrying about it. It's a great competition and good for development of all clubs moving forward
The QF's look excellent on paper.

Losing 4-1 is good as well, For the Development all part of the fun

It's common in Spain for a club to have absolutely no "official" ties to a big club but the big club will "loan" coaching staff, share scouting and training systems and have a curious habit of signing a lot of players from each other. Athletic Club and Basconia are an example. I think Oriental and Benfica do the same in Portugal. I could easily see Celtic/Sevco linking up in a similar way to... St. Ants or Benburb or create a whole new club to come in at the bottom tier. "Milngavie Rangers" or "Lennoxtown Celtic" or the like.
But the "B team" route is not gonna happen.B team's will happen on mass in the next few years. In England its beginning to turn the screw
Who shall l believe in the B Team debate
Pep or Some idiots on this forum
Its a tough one

Top Quality as below; looks like these B teams are taking the piss out of you.
As I said they would get the shite kicked out of them in the HL.
A sample of Challenge Cup results from Aug and Sept this season
Albion Rovers 6 St Mirren B 0
Celtic B 1 Morton 3
Hamilton 3 Hearts B 2
Stennie 3 Dundee Utd B 0
Hibs B 1 Elgin City 2
And you'll probably recall Caley Thistle's score against Rangers Colts as we made our way to the final last season.
Not one of these are Highland League sides.

All the B/colt teams should play in the Highland league, where they would get the shite kicked out of them.

What on earth has bigotry to do with this?
Edit: sorry, just seen this chap on some other threads and realised he's at it. Apologies.People need to move on with their football. We are moving towards a model which includes B/U21 across the Scottish Pyramid

I’d like to see your evidence of “kids getting into the first team quicker” without going out on loan.On Loan there is a chance they will be on the bench get limited game time, in a different environment with methods and tactics which may not help their development. Loans are needed but B/U21 is a better drive for players to progress quicker if the same style is played across the club

The Challenge Cup is for teams to pick up some silverware but we have all moved on and Prem U21 sides need to be involved as do some Premier Non league teams. Its working, Kids are getting into the 1st team quicker. People are bigoted as f**k sometimes

Rangers B all under 19's again
Great for development

Good performance from Hearts youngsters last night. it's what the competition is all about and long may this continue

He laid the groundwork for the development of the game at all levels. We are slowly getting towards something that works across the board with the divisions, Introducing B Teams, More Senior/Junior Non League sides in clubs and Youth Football

The Format is great for the Scottish Cup. Another good thing that Neil Doncaster has done
