Think this season should just be scrapped now with everything that’s going on. Start up the new West of Scotland League and everybody has a season knowing what’s at stake for them at the end of it rather than changing something that will in 3 months be all changed again . Everybody then knows the score rather pile on the pressure for maybe trying to force a season to be finished in 5 or 6 weeks maybe even shorter . It’s during this time you do your pitch maintenance and players etc go on holiday leaves no time to turn things round .

Just a quick query if you join the new West of Scotland league does that mean you fall into line with the seniors transfer window that closes end of August and then end of January ?

As a gesture of goodwill and if a compromise is reached by all parties regarding the West of Scotland league can the Sjfa not pay all the clubs league fees for the first year which I believe will be £500 for the first season to get the new league up and running saving any club the start up costs involved as I’m sure with the current situation going on that would be more of a benefit for the clubs

Out of curiosity should Clydebank and Kilwinning be able to attend the West Region meeting on Tuesday night although both clubs are members of The Sjfa but have both indicated that they are both leaving.

Reinstatement is their biggest income . So the clubs are the SJFA biggest sponsor.

1225 pages of uncertainty and it all stems from the top and is consistent with everything that goes on in Scottish Football from sponsorship , referees, spfl , Sfl , Compliance officers it’s time from somebody in the Sfa to take the lead and say this is the set up and this is what is happening too much in fighting and point scoring that is affecting everything that goes on in our sport. I’m sure although I might stand to be corrected that all the West Region Clubs were sent paperwork outlining all the options to them and which was the preferred option before they all met at a club delegate meeting to decide their preferred choice

Chis is right it’s the clubs that voted to keep the Sectional League Cup going. It helps clear any player suspensions that carry over and also they get a few local derby gates that help the finances. I would scrap it if it was my decision .

Here we go again . It’s crazy that we are trying to cram games in again at this time of the season . It’s only August and games are getting called off and we are trying to squeeze in 4 games a week . Teams just finding out tonight they have a game on Wednesday cos they won tonight look at the weather. There was traffic problems all over the place tonight and people are struggling to rush from work to get to parks in time for a 6.45 ko

Many thanks to all at Darvel today for the welcome received and the after match hospitality. Today was a very good game that could have went either way and it was about who wanted to win it the most at the end and this time it was Shotts who won it . There will be many ups and downs over the season and at the end of the day it was just another game which we won with us being tipped to go straight back down again this season by many so we have just to take one game at a time and a wee point to prove that we are not just here to make up the numbers. Fantastic set up at Darvel which they will continue to improve by the looks of things good luck for the rest of the season

Chis is right all clubs have access to check the players suspensions under their own club details but if you sign a player from another club you can’t see his suspension now as it was with his previous club and doesn’t get transferred
