It's not easy being a Bo'ness United fan.

Official BU website has a statement from the chairman which sets out the position and says (1) the club are taking professional advice and (2) the Chairman is considering his own position. Should the club appeal ? In my opinion it's a total waste of time if the "defence" is we didn't bother checking and the player assured us he was OK to play . Should the chairman resign ? Don't know enough about who does what at the club or what checks the BU did before naming the player in the squad. Irrespective of these matters the ejection from the Cup is a massive disappointment to the BU fans.

On what basis is Comrie deemed ineligible ?

Trip to Dundonald on Saturday. Will be a lot colder by Saturday and will feel only 3C in the cold breeze. Not much rain this week so pitch should be in reasonable condition........ unless it's covered with leaves .

A politician choosing to line his pockets is hardly a surprise. This type of behaviour is totally expected from our politicians.

First goal was a stoater !! Power, swerve and a late dip. Bit harsh having a pop at the keeper for that goal. Okay to hang him for his clanger for the 3rd goal but I think he should be absolved for the first.

The Haddington v Boness goals are on YouTube now. Even two goalies in the BU goal wouldn't have stopped that Haddington strike. Unstoppable.

Looks a decent player. On Saturday he showed several times a good first touch, the ability to turn into open space and play a short pass in front of a BU player running forward. With Devon absent (but munching pies at Haddington !!) Craig Comrie will surely get some game time over the next few weeks.

Beith will be delighted with their home draw v Ayr United in the next round.

If it was a spitting offence then Josh McDonald automatically misses the next 2 games :- Dundonald Buebell(A) and Bonnyrigg Rose (H). Looks like Michael "the shirt ripper"Gemmell will get a few more games at right back.
