Cloudy day for the fans but good Fitbaw weather for the players. No more than a light breeze should mean the BU's can play some silky stuff and run the Primrose ragged.
Crossgates again on Saturday.....3 weeks in a row v the same opposition due to cup ties. Complacency the biggest danger. If the BU players do their jobs we will win. Mon the BU's !!!
Yes no Dev. Don't think his form this season has matched that of last season. Donnelly for me is in the team for his physical presence especially when there's head tennis in midfield.
You going to disagree with my best starting 11 Sheep :-
Murphy with back 4 of Snowdon, Syme, Hunter and Campbell. Middle 3 of Gemmell, Morgan and Donnelly. Front 3 MacKenzie, Keast and Wright.
Agree with much of what Boheesian says. Rintoul seemed the obvious choice to put on but alas the manager had other ideas. Though Primrose did well to drag us down to their level of playing style. When we played it on the deck we looked better than them. When we punted it up they just punted it back. Thankfully our defence coped with it.
Too true Sheep 3points but not a lot to get excited about. Morgan and Donnelly ended up front in a 4-4-2 formation that saw out the victory. Thought the Boness second goal was just offside but the fat linesman was wobbling back 15 yards up the pitch and wasnt in a position to assist the ref. Thought the Crossgates penalty was soft. Yes it hit the arm of Josh MacDonald but he was only 3 yards away and it was blasted at him. Thought it was a clear case of ball to hand . Few howlers by the officials today. Amateur hour.
Halftime 0-1 to Boness. Since Keast went off we have lost our shape and there's not much between the sides. Hopefully Kegs gets it sorted in the dressing room at halftime.
