It'll be interesting to see if celtic takes the huff with Hearts and offers them zero away tickets.
Could they do that?

Not really, no.

Fair play to hearts. Every team should as a first aim, maximise as many home fans as possible. Only when they cannot sell tickets, should they open up more (within reason).
Could I just point out that, in addition to maximising as many home fans as possible, we also absolutely hate celtic and rangers fans, and want them nowhere near our stadium.

Was Naismith not playing a 4-2-3-1 with Shankland as a “10” off Ginnelly?
That was my reading of it - Grant, if he was to play, would be on the left of the 3 - possibly ahead of McKay if he doesn't buck up.
I wonder if McKay is suffering from the Samson complex - get the blond hairpiece back on, ffs!

Will you be going with Craig Gordon as assumed number 1 this season?
I would doubt that - reckon it will be Clark with Harry Stone to begin with - if Gordon is able to play, that'll be a Brucey bonus.
I feel the same way about Baningame, Boyce and Halkett coming back - there's every chance they could break down at any time - even if they get past the injury, will they be as effective as they've been?
I'm naturally pessimistic - goes with the territory of being a Hertz fan.

Or forced out
If that's the case, then I'm pleased our 28-goal international striker was forced out.
I forced one out earlier, incidentally.

If he was played at right back his 5 in 26 would be an incredible return. First 3 results I found show him playing upfront.
Aye, I'm going by what Shankland said in his own words uttered from his own mouth in an interview.
I doubt he was deployed at right back in every game, but the fact that Beerschot played him at RB at all is a strong indication that he was badly managed.

Remember shankland was a total flop in Belgium. I doubt he's on anything like 200k.
The Belgians played Shankland at right back, mind - daft c***s.

I hope his contract was retrieved before it went totally up in flames.
Your best post on this thread by some distance - bravo!

Good to hear that wee Connor Smith has singed a new deal - hope he gets a run of games to show whether he can do it for us.

Not necessarily better, but...

I thought it was great that Steven Sanchez allowed Elton John to open and close his set for him.
I didn't know who that was at the time, and am now none the wiser.

Very sad news.
A guy was just telling me he wrote to Craig asking why certain players weren't in the national squad - Craig took the time and trouble to call the guy at home to explain his selections - I think that one anecdote says a lot about the kind of man he was.
Rest in peace, Broon.

Greek international dreamboat Alex Tziolis - made his debut as a sub for Ian Cathro's Hearts team that beat rangers 4-1 - in a 25 minute cameo, he saw the game out by selling rangers players orgasm inducing dummies.
His form fell away game by game, and we were glad to see a picture of him waiting for a taxi outside celtic pork to take him to the airport.
Just realised this is the league one forum - apologies , chaps!
