I'm not so sure...tho it is getting late. My reading of regans interview is that if he and the suits don't like the look of the vote...they will just impose a new spl two structure including newco. If this does not have automatic promotion and relegation to sfl then it's a ballsy chairman who says no and condemns his club to wilderness for good. I'm more pessimistic about this than the vote. Easy to say we voted no...then jump on spl two bandwagon to save the club

Spl two is the big threat now that regan has let it slip...perhaps explains why even likes of findlay has come out against sfl one. Regan article is more appalling the more you read it.

Some of the most deluded pish yet seen on this fine thread. Operating Ibrox and MP, with more than a hundred non playing staff with spl crowds, sky money, cl crowds and and cl tv money left your rabble losing more than a million per month.....now you think at £12 a ticket, with no tv cash and the inevitably tiny crowds you will able to live within your means?? How ?give us the numbers to back this up? how will you cut costs on business rates,tax,ni,maintenance, utlities and other fixed costs?? McCulloch and Wallace cost more than the entire budget of most sfl3 teams. SPL clubs will only lose out on 2 visits from rfc...but will save a fortune on policing and security (and insurance ) and have more access to prize money and european revenue.

More or less agree but the fact that they voted despite doncaster (and voted correctly ) coupled with Clyde making a statement totally showing up doncaster will give me some hope that fan pressure can still win out

Clearly not what the suits wanted...have they fecked up massively by bullying sfl sides? They wanted delay to retain option of newco to spl but now sfl hold all the cards. Looks like continued fan power is staying ahead of the corrupt suits...decade ago this would not have been possible. Doncaster regan etc still have to be punter tho as a matter of urgency
