It's a shame that Johnston's time with us was dragged out so long. He brought in some great players and at times we played very nice football, but we had some utterly furious spells under him and he ultimately spent far too long as our manager. That's not entirely his fault though. I still have a soft spot for him.

Such a timid performance from Queens here. They're quite pacey going forward but composure is non-existent. In the Championship, teams can at least be pretty shit at football but with a bit of grit and aggression, can grind out the odd result. Teams like Alloa, Dundee and Morton will be glad that automatic relegation is seriously unlikely this season, as Queens look to have booked that slot already.

Good to see a young lad playing with confidence like that but the slightest bit of competent defending from Gibson clears that up easily. Poor goalkeeping too. The assist from Keatings was really disappointing, made Kennedy do a lot more work than he needed to.

Do Raith have any scumbags in the squad this season? We’re needing a couple of right shit-stirrers to heat things up since the fans aren’t there to do it. Closest thing we’ve got is McManus, who’s bound to wind up the opposition a bit but he’s pretty tame compared to Dougie Hill or Josh Falkingham. Kevin O’Hara has previous, but we need some impairments for him to get things going.

You don't think you'd have any kind of a chance against Hibs? They're a comfortably better side than you at the moment, reflected by a ten point gap in the league. Therefore I reckon we have a better chance of beating St Johnstone than we would if we'd drawn Hibs. I'm not quite sure what's difficult to grasp here.

I don’t know about other Pars fans, but the issue about the PPV pricing isn’t merely about £2. I think, even as Fifers, we can all collectively agree that £2 is f**k all and nobody’s claiming it’s putting them in the gutter or meaning their sprogs go without Christmas presents etc. The issue is, as some of the more reasonably-minded Rovers fans have pointed out, the principle of quietly bumping up the price because they think/know fans really want to see this game and will just accept it because the desire to see the game is far greater than two quid. A slight increase probably wouldn’t have caused any debate if the club could justify it, and/or announce it in plenty time. They’ve done neither.

Drawing anyone other than Rangers or Hibs is a winnable tie for most clubs, especially us, at this stage. I doubt any Pars fans think we're favourites here, but we certainly have a chance.
