We went with Booking.com. Our original choice was a bed and breakfast (someones home) with great reviews for £70, but it was double booked. They found us a hotel slightly closer to centre for £90, but we do get a refund on that £20 though. Looking at Premier inn, Travelodge etc is day light robbery.

Off to Everton V Cardiff City on Saturday. Hotel prices are Shocking though! £90 for a one night stay in Liverpool?! Seriously WTF is that all about? Any cheaper places want a minimum 2 night stay.

Heading to Carlisle United v Peterborough United tomorrow. a few ex SPL players involved. For Carlisle there's; Lee Miller, Prince Buaban, Greg Fleming and Sean O'Hanlon. For Peterborough they have Danny Swanson and Robert Olejnik.

Will be in Lisbon in February. I know Benfica are at home to Guimaraes and Sebutal (nearby lisbon) are both at home. Has anyone been to a match in Portugal before?

Also going to Barcelona in the new year. Got tickets for game against Osasuna. Also noticed the mini classico is at the mini estadi the same weekend. Does anyone know if getting tickets are easy for that one?
