  1. They sold Christie park to a supermarket chain (Sainsbury's) and built the new ground about a mile away. I went to the last league game there against Aldershot. As well as a league game at the Globe. Both us and Morecambe got to the play offs the year Christie park was closed. 8th May 2010 over 5000 at that game. So they had a further game after that. Then again in August 2011 this time to the Globe. Aldershot lost both games.
  2. Normally go to a two games a month. As I don't have a season ticket this Includes ticket, travel, food/drink, putting a coupon on and a programme I'm saving about £120 a month. Each game I spend about £60. Also noticed I'm hardly spending any money just now, except on groceries.

  4. Seen this on a Facebook Group I follow. Here's my answer. I've managed to see a team in every letter bar X, though if you change the one club I've seen from Kazakhstan to Cyrillic there's an X in their name (I'm taking it..) I've also done it in order of when I've seen each team, starting in 1988 and 'completed' in 2013. Being a Celtic supporter has helped a lot in this. I lived in England as a kid and used to watch Aldershot and Woking. So Here goes.... Aldershot Bristol city Celtic Doncaster Rovers Everton Feyenoord Grays Athletic Hamilton Accies Innsbruck Tirol Jeaunesse Esch Kingstonian Liverpool Millwall Northampton Town Oxford United Port Vale Queens Park Rangers Rochdale Southampton Torquay United Udinese Vitoria Guimaraes Woking WaXtep ok Kapafahabi (shaktar Karaganda) York City Zagreb Dynamo
  5. Haha.. No, bit I wish I did. I work here.
  6. I'm having up and down days to be honest. There are some days when I'm truly struggling and finding it hard to adapt and emotional. Then others when I'm ok to good. I am taking it upon myself to avoid watching the news on TV, but looking at news stories for a few minutes on the internet. I'm lucky that I've just been promoted at work so I have some work to do from home (not much but it's something, and colleagues are coming to me for advice). This gives me purpose and routine to my day. I'm also going out for walks to the local park to combat Cabin fever. For anyone struggling. Please keep strong
  7. I'm a Celtic supporter. And if possible the £395000 that we are getting should be given to the 30 clubs in the other 3 divisions. We are the richest club and I think it would be a great gesture if we would do that. That's £13000 each and would go a massive way to help all those clubs. Motherwell definitely need that money but Rangers should also make that gesture in my opinion
  8. I literally got promoted 2 weeks ago to a Team Leader roll at work. So the last two weeks has been a crash course on all the Administration responsibilities the roll entails. I was having to go in up to yesterday, but the directors banned everyone from entering the building on Tuesday. So last day I went in was Monday. I've had to Set up files and transfering them to the cloud system so I can do work from home. I had a A4 work diary in my draw at work which I was going to collect yesterday with a few pieces of important information that would help me. But now don't have that information. It's good that I can contact my boss though as I'm not 100% sure of everything I can be doing. What a time to be promoted...
  9. Only once put all them teams on a coupon and only Edinburgh city won. Waste of £5
  10. Have you ever seen Aldershot play...? . It's limbs when we get a corner...
  11. 1.FSV Mainz 05. I have family that are from Mainz, And I've been to see them a few times. Barnsley, Man City, Inter Milan, East Fife, Raith Rovers and Edinburgh City through friends and work colleagues that are supporters of them. As well as Aldershot Town and Celtic (my two teams who I'm a supporter off) I also follow Woking FC results. As I used to go watch them as a kid along with Aldershot.
  12. 25th July Matt Le Blanc (Friends actor) Hulk (footballer) Walter Payton (American Footballer) Estelle Getty (actress) Gavrilo Princip (assassin of Archduke Franz Ferdinand) Anthony Stokes (footballer) James 1 (king of Scotland) Arthur Balfour (33rd British PM) Jean-claude Darcheville (footballer)
  13. Celtic have twice played Jeunesse Esch of Luxembourg. In 1977 and 2000. The game in 1977 was Played at Eschs Small stadium but in 2000 we played at the National stadium. So Celtic have won in the capital of Luxembourg.
  14. Is it realistic to get past Denmark and the Czech Republic this season. Baring in mind Slavia Prague will most probably not get European football after Christmas and Copenhagen are doing well in the Europa league?
  15. I'm sure Cambridge United and Peterborough united are/were rivals with each other.
  16. Reading and Aldershot used to have a real tasty rivalry back in the past before the original Aldershot went bust. The hatred was always much more than that with Oxford/Swindon etc. There are still older Reading fans that laugh at the ineptitude of (our) Aldershot to this day.
  17. 100 % Behind the campaign for cheaper ticket prices. But I've just one question. Why didn't you include the ticket prices for Celtic V Rangers games in the banner? I believe it was £52 for the game at Ibrox and I'm sure it will be the same for the return game. The last few years the cost has been £49 for those games. Which as a non season ticket holder I refuse to pay. At least when Celtic and Rangers play at Hampden the SFA and SPFL keep those prices much more reasonable.
  18. Just looked up who she played in Last of the summer wine, and at least Howard will be relieved as Marina and him don't have to sneak about anymore. Robert Fyfe (94) and Jean Fergusson (74) are still going strong.
  19. A reserve game in 1988 between Hamilton Accies and Celtic at Douglas park. Celtic won 4-2. I think Danny McGrain was in the Hamilton side that day. My main memory of the game was an older man giving Danny grief during the game.
  20. Aldershot (both the original 1926 and new 1992 clubs) I used to live near there as a kid. I also followed Woking for a while when Aldershot went bust. I went to School in Woking and school friends used to watch them during their successful 90s period.
  21. I didn't even look at what else was on offer. As soon as I seen Hampden. I just picked it. I only ever wanted the one game. So just happy with that.
  22. YASSSSSSS!!!!! Got a ticket for the Group D match at Hampden on June 15th €50. Very happy with that
  23. I'm about 11 minutes away from a choice of Baku, Baku or Baku..
