  1. Battle of the ECFCs! My first game of 2022 after the postponement of Spartans V CSS. An entertaining 2-2 draw. I'm starting to question my sanity as it was absolutely Baltic!
  2. Edinburgh University V Spartans at Peffermill tonight. 2-1 Spartans
  3. Was that Joe Hart early in the game? I was in the Jock Stein upper, and everyone around me just looked and wondered how the ref and Linesman didn't see it. He was miles out the box.
  4. Another one who attended the SWPL Final today.
  5. Lothian Thistle Hutchinson Vale V Edinburgh City. I had planned on going to Dumbarton V Sauchie Juniors but travel chaos put paid to that theory. So stayed in Edinburgh and enjoyed some local travel chaos instead. An accident at Tolcross had lots of buses diverted. Game finished 2-1 to City. LTHV have given a good account of themselves in the game an nearly snatched a deserved replay at the death.
  6. I know very little about the Juniors, and I expected Pollok to score a few today. But Pollok were awful and didn't get going. I was more impressed with them earlier in the season at Clydebank. Harthill worked their socks off today, defended deep and well in the game and tried to get forward when they could. Sending off directly cost them today. Sub booked twice. After he went off, Pollok hit a long free kick. Then won another by the corner flag where the winner came from as the cross was headed home.
  7. Managed to get to a double game for the third time this season. A first visit to Newlandsfield to see Pollok against Harthill Royal in the South Challenge cup. Pollok winning 2-1 with a late goal in front of 470. Second game wasn't so Random as made it over to Hampden to see Celtic V St Johnstone. 1-0 Celtic 42298 in attendance.
  8. Spartans V Celtic B in the Lowland league tonight. Not sure of crowd (200/300) Celtic took the lead but goals just before half time and full time give Spartans the win.
  9. Attended the thrilling Hearts V Dundee United today. Fair to say I'm loving going to as many games as I can this season this season.
  10. Edinburgh City V Albion Rovers 0-4. last night. Surprised at how one sided the game was. Rovers were fantastic the front three must have given City's defence nightmares last night.
  11. Excellent win. But I wish we could just be a bit more defensive when we get a lead. We are trying to score goals at corners when we were down to ten men at a corner and trying to counter attack in the last 5 minutes! Just slow the game down!
  12. Thanks. I plan to head to them before the St Johnstone game at Hampden on the 20th.
  13. Do you know if Pollok are doing programmes for all games now? Thanks.
  14. Not sure if all together random, as I'm a Celtic supporter. But went to see our Woman's team play for the first time this evening at Oriam against Hearts woman's team. 3-0 win for Celtic. Crowd about 200 or so.
  15. Hard to narrow it down to five. 1995-96 Back at partly renovated Celtic Park. Not much expected other than we at least compete. We finished 2nd in league but only lost once in league. Draws killed us that season. Lost 5 games all season, sadly lost at home in all competitions to Rangers and home and away to PSG. The season was brilliant despite not winning anything. Just one win over Rangers would've seen us Champions. 1997-98. Season we stopped the 10 for Rangers. A very nervous season. We lost 4 put of the first 12 games If I remember correctly. Won the League cup against Dundee United 3-0 and despite nearly making a mess of it at Dunfermline the week previous, kept our nerve (just) to beat St Johnstone on the last day. 2000-01 first treble since 68-69. Phenomenal season under Martin O'Neill. 2001-02 won the League again, but really enjoyed our European games that season the most. Qualified for Champions League group stage and done brilliantly to win our home games, unlucky to lose on penalties to Valencia in the UEFA cup. 02-03. Oddly this season is my all time favourite Celtic season. And we won f**k all and Rangers win a treble, and yet it was an amazing season. Getting to a European final helped despite losing. During 1994-95 to 06-07 I barely missed a game home or away and for me this period is my favourite watching Celtic. But these seasons stand out for me. Add in 03-04 was also a super season where we won the double and got to the Quarter finals of the UEFA cup.
  16. I was behind the goal at the Jock Stein stand a few blocks along (139). I think someone collapsed and the crowd were calling for medical assistance.
  17. Alloa Athletic V Peterhead 2-4 16th October.
  18. When they decide not to sell the hard copies at the actual game then sales are going to be poor. Then if you want a copy you need to Buy from the publisher who charge £1.80 for postage. I went to the St Mirren game and was disappointed with the quality of content. Lazy and probably a deliberate. I'm not even sure if they advertised that you could buy hard copies.
  19. Not particularly random as I'm an Aldershot supporter. But I don't get to see them that regularly, so popped down to Stockport today to see them. Decent performance, but frustrating that we switched off at a free kick and that proved the winner. Impressive crowd of over 6000.
  20. Edinburgh University V Berwick Rangers 1-4 to Berwick. Enjoying just going to games this season, whatever the level. Game 17 of the season for me. Most have been lower league or non league.
  21. Kelty Hearts V Annan Athletic 2-1, 674 crowd. Enjoyable day out.
  22. Kelty Hearts V Annan Athletic today.
  23. It's an absolute fabulous matchday at Dulwich, I would highly recommend to anyone. Brilliant atmosphere.
  24. Down south this weekend to watch the Shots lose our 5th game out of 5 this season Have added a couple of games in today. First visit to Kingsmeadow for Chelsea women V Everton Women and then over to Champion Hill to see a brilliant game which had everything. Dulwich Hamlet 3 Hungerford 1. Included two missed penalties and two red cards. Pictures are Erin Cuthbert for Chelsea and just before kick off at Dulwich.
  25. Travel Presenter of a TV show like Globe trekker from the 90s -2000s. Love travel and to be paid to travel and present a show like that would be ideal.
