  1. As far as Queen of the South are concerned it's very bad timing. Not the kind of distraction you would have been looking for as you look to continue the progress made last season.
  2. Yes I'm still stating the facts, sorry if it bores you.
  3. September/October last year Reilly was regarded as the better prospect around certain circle's which is why you didn't get to see that much of him for long periods!!!
  4. The Rangers might take Sandy as well. Tommy Wilson has left their youth department!
  5. Not a problem. It is the league goals that count at the end of the season when they are handing out the awards.
  6. According to the official Ginger boot table, Little has 22 league goals.
  7. Nice to see young Gavin has had a couple of starts in the last two games and has produced a goal in each. By all accounts he's played well. See also that a certain Andy Little is now top of the scoring stats, that won't go down well with some!!!
  8.    Now now then, Im far from it, Im always a Glass half full guy. How can anyone be miserable on a glorious sunny morning like this? Well at least it is in EH9
  9.    Yes Smith might be able to look forward to a 5min cameo substitution role in your next game. Nice debate on your own supporters' site at the moment!
  10. Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to one and all. Hope next year is as successful for you as the last six months of this one has been. No hard feelings I just write, my thoughts and opinions and what I hear, you’re entitled to do the same.
  11. You said it! Normally a lone striker playing for the TEAM would run himself into the ground, pressing and shutting down the opposition. He would then be replaced midway through the secondhalf. At least that’s how the likes of Freguson. Mancini. Mourinho etc do it. I suppose there was the chance of glory for someone if they'd scored an equaliser.
  12. Well you’re right I just couldn’t bide myself. The same question being asked by so many different people about the substitutions, how do you explain that then? One of the posters on your mad site must have seen and heard something similar and seems to be of the same opinion regarding Clark.
  13. Which is my point exactly, mission accomplished Mr Clark. For what it’s worth I’ve watched Gavin along with a lot of others in the EOS and thought/think his a good player, I’m only writing on a public forum what I’ve seen and heard. Nothing more nothing less, your own statistics would appear to agree with what I’ve written, I’ll end it there.
  14. This I’m lead to believe that early season and up until a few weeks ago Queens played a 4-4-2.formation. Gavin was brought in to play as one of the two strikers against Hibs, Dundee Utd, Rangers Arbroath, Ayr and Stranraer, where he and the team played extremely well with Gavin scoring a number of goals and the team and the youngster rightly getting a lot of media interest. Then, for some reason the formation was changed, which I witnessed and commented on against Edinburgh City, with Gavin playing a much deeper and wider role, to the point especially at set pieces whereby he was very often well outside the penalty box. Very strange indeed would you not say?.
  15. It would appear that the rumours of the last few weeks have come to fruition and Mr Clark has “managed Gavin Reilly out of the team. I suppose it was inevitable as the youngster was doing so well and taking the spotlight away from others!
  16. I went along and watched this amazing and thoroughly enjoyable game. Which concluded with a historical result for Queen of the South?. Your team was terrific showing great energy with their pressing and closing down which never give Rangers time to settle on the ball. Your fans looked and sounded very enthusiastic and everyone involved in the club should be very proud of their achievements so far. Although not a follower of either club I was keen to see how both Daniel Carmichael and Gavin Reilly had progressed and how they would perform on a bigger stage. Boy was I impressed, not just with them but the Queens team as a whole. I always thought those two were something special when they played in the EoS and they are now showing what they are capable of. Without being disrespectful to your club I think they will soon both go on to bigger things. Congratulations on a truly wonderful performance and good luck for the rest of the season. I will definitely be trying to see other Queen Of The South games in the coming months.
  17. Difinately hats off to you guys so far this season. A good 3 points and a win away from home with another 2 goals for Reilly. 5 in the last 2 games he's started and against arguably two of your main rivals for automatic promotion . What did I say? With the Rangers score at the weekend you must be quietly confident about getting a result tomorrow night, good luck
  18. Sandy won’t see him as a threat to Nicky then and he should fit in nicely so they become a dynamic double up front!!
  19. Nicky Clark, Marmite! See he played the full game, I did say.
  20. That's you now got 4 local derby's against Stranraer rather than playing Airdrie!
  21. Be careful what you say guy's Thruthhurts will be after you.
