  1. The editor of Sportsound (or it might've been Sportscene, too similar for my liking) said on Twitter that Muzz will be signing a new deal tomorrow. Edit: It was the producer of Sportsound User Actions Follow Douglas McNeil‏@DouglasMcNeil Doubt very much that Ian Murray will be the new manager of St Mirren. Expect him to sign a new deal at Dumbarton tomorrow. Reply Retweeted Favorite More RETWEETS6 FAVORITES4 2:14 PM - 12 May 2014
  2. I don't think that's a hint.....I think that's the reason....!
  3. Looks promising....... http://www.dumbartonreporter.co.uk/sport/football/articles/2014/05/11/497938-murray-hopeful-of-new-sons-deal-this-week/
  4. See if we give you Shug Murray back will you leave Ian alone?
  5. Hopefully not, do you think Saints will sack Danny? From and outsiders view it would seem very harsh.
  6. Pete don't do this to us, we need to know more!
  7. The only other black and yellow/gold/orange one I could find is this one.
  8. Flicking through the Joma catalogue on the Total Teamwear website, could this be the away top (2nd from the right)?
  9. "Exciting sponsorship in keeping with our brand"...wonder what that could be, something to do with elephants?! Anyway Joma are making the new kits as Silverton (I think it was) said earlier. http://www.dumbartonfootballclub.com/news/?mode=view&id=1351
  10. Nope, not yet not sure if he'll be offered a deal.Out of interest you don't know how many games he played for Arthurlie do you? I couldn't find it anywhere so just guessed when I was updating his wiki page!
  11. Phinn and #TheMistake away http://www.dumbartonfootballclub.com/news/?mode=view&id=1350
  12. Disagree with this they were never going to get much time playing for us. Giving them game time along with the experience of junior football is invaluable for them both to get used to the physicality of the game (which they would not experience in bounce games) and to appreciate that- like when Dobbie came to us- that they are lucky to be at the club, Joe in particular was getting excellent reviews from the Kilbirnie fans and hopefully he can build on it this season with us, failing that I wouldn't be surprised to see him shipped out on loan to a third division side. To use a 17 year old regularly for us in the first division is always going to be risky as any mistake can shatter their confidence and potentially have a bad effect on their career. Finally Kilbirnie are 6th in the Superleague- the highest league in the west region so they are not under par, they're actually pretty good. E.T.A Doesn't seem that Joe agrees with you: Joe Coleman ‏@Joe_Coleman1 Jan 3 Last game for kilbirnie tomorrow, Wish it could have been longer but it's been a great few months and I've loved every minute of it! #COTB Collapse Reply Retweet Favorite More
  13. Would rather Paddy Flannery (dugout sulks and all) than Shiels!
  14. Not a great deal in it but a wee thing from the Reporter about contracts.
  15. This might interest all fans but BBPF especially, good luck to Paddy http://www.thelangonline.org/newmanagement.htm
  16. Good post will read again..... Anyway was anything revealed about the new strips last night? It's not even been two days since the season finished and I'm already getting withdrawal symptoms!
  17. Been following the awards on twitter: Travel POTY- Paul McGinn Sons View POTY- Chris Turner Young player of the Year- Paul McGinn Top Goalscorer- Mitch Megginson Players POTY- Paul McGinn POTY- Paul McGinn Well deserved for McGinn, getting him signed up for next season would be magic!
  18. Can't make it to the awards bash tonight so if someone could update me on who wins what then that'd be great
  19. I think unless some good offers come in then many of our players will stay part-time. The money in full time football in the Championship isn't great and many of our players will probably be earning more from working and playing part-time than they would if they went full time. It can also be less stressful for a player to play part time as they don't have that worry that an injury or loss of form could see them out a job. I'm quietly confident we will still have a decent side next year, every other part time player in the country will no doubt be interested in playing for us, Muzz and Jack have a good reputation amongst players and the promise of games at Ibrox, Tynecastle and possibly Easter Road next season may be enough to persuade some of the current mob to re-sign.
  20. Even if they go down id expect them to keep Butcher in the hope he can do to them what he did to ICT.
