I know this is a bit out of the blue but does any sons fan remember the game against Manchester Utd in 1991? It was a bit before i was born but all i can find was the goalscorers for United that day (Mark Robins x2,Mark Hughes x2 and Brian McClair) can anyone else give me more info about the line ups? Is it true that Schmeichel made his début that day? Reason I ask is that I overhead a few guys at the game yesterday one was a regular and the other one I hadn't seen before,the regular said something about it being Schmeiches first game for them just wondered if it was true,cracking bit of trivia if it is!

I wonder if the SFA would let us do what Albion Rovers did in the cup and move the game to St Mirren Park? That would get one round the council as I would imagine the local businesses would be quite upset at all that potential business getting taken away. Unreal really,one day they are apparently funding a new stadium for the Bankies and the next day they aren't allowing us a wee bit of temporary construction.

That's a lot of rubbish then isn't it,hardly any parking spaces outside Ayr United or Thistle despite the fact that those stadiums hold much more than the Rock. E.T.A Dundee is the worst! Have to park a good few streets away.

'Sons Sorrow' is the best thing that ever happened to the club and under NO circumstances should it's name be changed. It turned our season around last year.....

Shame things never worked out for him,he was very impressive against Hibs but failed to build on that. Good luck to him for the future (except against us when he inevitably will score) and as others have said its good to get another wage freed up.

McNiff had his chance in the first part of last season and didn't take it. He is not good enough for this level we would be much better trying to develop Coleman who has been getting rave reviews from the Kilbirnie fans.

Lets not forget that Joe Colemans loan at Kilbirnie expires on Sunday. Could McLaughlin be cover with Coleman being given a chance?,he seems to have done very well out on loan and it would be nice to see a youth get a chance in the top team.

I agree with the Moonsters sentiment here however i will reserve my judgement until the first 10 minutes of his début. Jordan Kirkpatrick was released by Hamilton and Aggy by Ayr United so i will give him a fair chance. I'm not expecting much so he can only impress me...

You've seen him in 4 games going by your earlier post of having attended every game since Raith bar Berwick and Alloa (Morton,Livi,QOS and Raith).Shug has experienced a loss of form since his come back from injury,as the Moonster says he played in 4 of our 5 victories so far. I'm confident with game time he'll return to form. Without him our midfield is too soft,especially with CT much stronger in an attacking role. Nish is dreadful I'll agree with you there though,honestly as bad a finisher as I've ever seen,up there with Tommy Coyne. Its not just that though,hes 6"5 yet never wins anything in the air and his positional play is dreadful. Prunty and Fleming should be starting upfront next week. I honestly Dont understand how he managed to score so many goals in the SPL (10th top scorer I think!)
