  1. No still well ahead in the poll-of-polls. Nothing to worry about Lex. In fact, you probably don't even need to bother to vote.
  2. Just as it should be, IMO. I've been somewhat pessimistic about the result all along. I still think No will win but I'm now a tiny bit worried that Yes will win and I won't be in Scotland to celebrate. I'm supposed to be in Hong Kong when the result will come through, but if things keep moving I'll have to think about getting a ticket back.
  3. Well the MSM might try a story like this, given that we are already hearing Brown Shirts, Gestapo et al with increasing frequency. There really don't seem to be any limits.
  4. He's still waiting for his brothers to get back to him on that one.
  5. This is one of the great mysteries for me. What's up with the foreigner phobia of BT et all? Look at Lex: he's actually sickened by the *idea* of being a foreigner. I guess they all hate the thought of being part of that group that they want to see less of.
  6. One of the most interesting aspects of an iScotland would be seeing what Scottish Labour, Lib Dems and the Conservatives did with the freedom to come up with their own policies. The fact they currently seem so repulsed by the idea speaks volumes of their lack of aspiration for the country.
  7. I think the point being made is that many people seem to think this is a vote about these issues, when really it is not. I know that in an independent Scotland I would have quite different views on many issues compared with other Yes supporters on here. I disagree with many of the policy ideas put forward by Yes Scotland and the SNP, but it doesn't stop me wanting a Scottish parliament to ultimately decide rather than Westminster.
  8. They're not really mutually exclusive, are they?
  9. You do realise people can't vote Don't Know in the referendum, don't you?
  10. I also have a question (apologies if this has been answered somewhere else). I read and hear lots of Rangers complaining about the supposedly terrible way they've been treated, but I really don't understand what they think *should* have happened. Could a Rangers fan clarify?
  11. Does anyone know why the council acted just before the start of the season? If they had done this two months later the club would have at least been allowed to limp along to the end of the season, with more time to find a solution. As it is, there's no time, and they look f****d. There also seems to be an issue with the ego of the interim manager (who is not the administrator, as they are not yet in administration).
  12. I get that, but isn't his job to protect the interests of creditors? And aren't the council the biggest creditor (along with Massone himself)? How can he already say the club cannot operate under administration? What assets can be liquidated? Creditors will get feck all, whereas if the club continues to operate, there's the possibility of more than feck all.
  13. Am I the only one wondering what McGruther is playing at?
