In the next 2 weeks we must try and get a centre midfielder in and someone with pace on the left side Paton will not do .He takes a good corner but that is not enough to stay in the team .

We were poor 1st half AJ had us set up all wrong we were lucky to go in only 1down . Much better in the 2nd half back to 4-4-2 Murray on the right got a deserved goal unlucky to not get a winner when the ball hit the post then it looked like a certain pen after that for a foul on Murray thought the ref gave it then seem to change his mind . Hope the Dunfermline player is okay was down for a very long time .

I've went on a wee bit already. PT sides aren't going to be whipping boys; how many years did Dumbarton and ourselves survive in this division? My biggest issue wasn't that we failed to beat Arbroath, my biggest issue was the exact same as it was against Annan: we failed to beat a terrible PT side. Arbroath are a far better team than Annan. When we get Dobbie back get our loan signing in we will then expect to beat Arbroath but right now we have a poor team . The full time thing does not make much of a difference these days part time players are just as fit

We could sign 4 players tomorrow to get the numbers up but they would be no better than what we have e just now . What we really need is more quality in the squad we will just have to wait till the 2 players become available that we want on loan . What had happened to the sign it has not been updated been a while since the Motherwell and Annan games

A difficult 1st home game Dunfermline were impressive on Friday night look to have a very good squad this season . Our squad is not complete yet but it is difficult to get players in with our budget we will be lucky to get a crowd of 2000 on Sat Dunfermline had over 5000 on Friday night . Huge miss for us is Dobbie being out he is our main goal threat

A point away is not bad but we have no cutting edge without Dobbie . Really need to get new signing in as AJ says the squad is not complete hopefully we can add to the squad before the Dunfermline game !!!

Going to be a very difficult season very Inpressed with both Dunfermline and Dundee last night .. You can see that both clubs budget is on a different level to us you get what you pay for. The crowd over 5000 we can only dream of crowds like that I suppose that is why we struggle to sign decent players

Can't see us turning such a situation around with only 96 points available to play for right enough. Falkirk fans said that last season after a bad start look what happened to them . Look like we are going with what we have for Saturday going to be very difficult to get a result

We can't wait till the end of August we could be bottom of the league we need players now but as always it is all to do with money something we don't have a lot of .

Surely we will have at least 2 new signing in for Saturday if not then the squad we have just now is not good enough time get a result at Arbroath maybe with Dobbie we had a chance but no Dobbie no result

Iain Wilson and Don Thomas on loan to Queens . Will Queens have to wait till you get some players in before you send them out on loan .

Can we wait for Wilson and Thomas from Killie on loan . Will not get them not untill Killie sign some player might have to wait till late August to get them can we wait that long . Would still like us to get 2 in this week then add Wilson and Thomas when we can a big ask with our budget but all depends how much we want to stay in the Championship the squad we have just now is just not good enough without Dobbie as well now for a few weeks . We must somehow get at least 2 quality new signing in for this game very important to get off to a good start . No new signing and we will struggle especially without Dobbie.. My team McCorie Mercer Brownlie Semple Holt Murray Pybus Kidd Paton Oliver Hamilton Very weak midfield hopefully 2 new signing centre mid and left mid time for Oliver and Hamilton to step up to get us goals huge miss without Dobbie

Hopefully there is more to come from McCrorie been disappointed with him so far he just seems to be easily beaten wonder how many shots he has actually saved and his kicking is not the best hopefully with more games he will get better but as of now he is no better than Martin .

It was a Cup game we had to win we didn't so we are out nothing like a league game . The squad we have just now will not keep us up made worse with the loss of Dobbie we MUST somehow find the money this week to let AJ get the players in that he wants if not then we will be off to a poor start something that will be difficult to recover from look at Falkirk last season poor start never recovered from it

The big difference today was that Dobbie was out with injury with his quality I think we would have win the game going to be a huge miss for Queens for the best 6 weeks

What a terrible start to the season now that Dobbie will be out for 6 weeks time now for the board to really back AJ and try and get the players in that he wants might have to go over budget but with Dobbie out we have no choice .

Huge blow that Dobbie is out for 6 weeks .. At the other end we are still giving away cheap goals how a defender can't mark someone at a corner I just don't no and we just give away pens. We are a poor team who has now lost its best player unless AJ can somehow get at least 3 quality signing in then we are in deep trouble before before we even start the league . Strange for me to say but I am very worried about Queens this season

Really shows how poor a result and performance it was against Annan no surprise that Morton took 5 off them Annan were very poor last week . Morton have what we dont pace all over the team hopefully we can get that with our new signing .

Skyline the pen shoot out why are they always at the home end is it just the luck of a coin toss. The floodlights are they due to get repaired soon does not good with the scaffolding and they are many bulbs out .

Good win today but still short in numbers and more inportant quality . We need at least 4 players but it looks like we are only going to get 2 both will be loan signing have to hope some young players step up..

What has Motherwell winning 4 nil against Morton got your do with us. We should just worry about our own results and trying to get 4 quality signing in if not we are in for a very poor season this season already reminds me of the Gus season players signing for Queens who can't get a deal anywhere else

The squad that we have just now is just not good enough.We need to add at least 4 players but not crap like Michael Paton he offers nothing Kidd is not much better amazed he scored a pen . We have to many players who won't make anything happen in a game pass it back dont take anyone on . Somehow we have to get some pace into the team everything is so slow

You can't compare a poor Annan team to Partick. Do you think Paton will get better with more game time not chance in hell somehow Kidd will look like a footballer sometime soon Oliver will suddenly become 6feet able to hold the ball up for Dobbie our midfield will suddenly be able to pass the ball forward and our defence will learn to defend a corner but as you say we scored 5 pens so all is good !!!
