More bothered about actually signing players and that they can play football !!!.*Don't really care what they look like . We have a strange set up we are really based in Hamilton only come to Dumfries to play home games.. Most teams train close to where they play there home games not 60 odd miles away

The Iru Bru Cup should only be for Scottish teams what next Invitiing teams from Europe . Do Queens get invited to any Cups in England Wales or Ireland No... The big clubs playing there young players as well just makes a joke of the competition . We should just play our under 20 team and just forget about Iru Bru Cup can't imagine there will be much money in it you get a bottle of Iru Bru if you are the man of the match imagine that will be the highlight of many a player !!!

Ballantyne is going on trial would think he would get signed to be honest. Why just on trial ? Had Naysmith not seen enough if him to sign him .Do you think he is good enough to play in the Championship .? He is a right back likes to get forward ?

Is Brownlie out with injury till the New Year ?. Naysmith has never said anything only that Mercer should be back for pre season training as his injury is not as bad as they thought it was .

Absolutely. But I still find the view 'players will always go to who pays them the most money' to be nonsense. Take Nicky Clark he has left Dunfermline because he has heard the weather is better in Dundee !!! nothing to do with him getting double his wages at Untied.. Kevin Holt had ticked all his boxes on coming back to Queens will not be bothered on getting less than half on what he was on at Dundee it is only money !!!

It is not the same for a part time player as football is not his main income.

Mark Durnan and Kevin Holt would sign for Queens if the money was right everything else is right but they have to try and get the best deal they can sadly that wont be at Queens.They will not really care who they play for as long as they get a really good contract .Money is the most important thing for any footballer .

Will have to wait for signings players will always go to the club who pays the most money sadly that is not us . Mark Durnan and Kevin Holt would like to sign for Queens again but we can get nowhere near want they would want in wages . We somehow must have put a good deal to Harkins and Todd but now we will have to wait till players have no other options but to sign for us .

Has to be a friendly against a English Premier side . Newcastle is the easy option but you really want say Liverpool or Man. City or Untied .

Josh Mullin has signed for Ross County. This is the problem Naysmith has a player gets a offer from us waits then gets a better offer from somewhere else . Naysmith job can't be easy with the budget he has our budget will be the smallest of the full time teams in the Championship

Will not go with what Dundee UTD think would rather here from Montrose fans who seen him play for most of the season

Yano signed a year extension along with flem a few months back .Same with most of the rest of the squad,Only player's I've not heard that are not signed yet are Bolo,Redman,Masson and Lewis Milne.The rest like Kerr hay,Conor McLaren etc will be gone is imagine.Getting Ballantyne back for next year would be superb but I can imagine he is attracting interest from other clubs that are full time. Cammy Ballantyne what is he like as a player could he make the step up to the Championship . Queens are interested in him does he play right back ?

Queens never want to go back to part time football .Somehow we must stay full time but with another huge loss for last season it is going to be very difficult to stay full time . Our crowds were very poor last season if not for the arena then we would probably be part time now just can't have full time football on crowds under 2000 . Have to hope for a good Cup run something we have not had for many years.. Of the full time teams in our league our budget must be one of the smallest maybe around £400,000 . In saying that Livi budget was around £300,000 this season look how well they done think Dundee UTD was over a million

Yes I was meaning close to 5000 over the two games double what we would get if we played Livi over the two games . If Queens are in the top 4 all season all the stay at home fans will be back amazing what you say when you have had two many drinks !!!

Hopefully my odd approach will mean that Naysmith should have a bigger budget .Two home games v Livi be lucky to get 2500 Two homes games with Partick we should get close to 5000 .

Partick will easily bring 300 away fans Livi be lucky if they had 100 fans at Palmy so all good for Queens . On the football side Partick and Dundee UTD have to be fav to win the league going to be very difficult to get into the too 4 next season but look at Livi back in August would never have thought they would go up

Great result for Queens Livi going up .. Now should get a decent away support from Thistle surely at least double what Livi would bring It just shows that you can do it on a small budget Livi budget is just smaller than ours even there home support us less than ours Get the right manager and you can do anything

Kevin Holt has to go where he can get the most money he will earn about double what Queens can offer him at St Mirren .

Good news about Mercer looks like he will be fit for the start of the season but no mention of the Brownlie injury Looks like we will have to wait a while now for any new signing . Most players will wait to see if they get any better offers than what we will be offering . No chance of signing Holt and Durnan will both get offers that we could not get anywhere near

Derek Lyle has 2 offers from Scottish clubs and a offer from Linfield . Would think he would have a offer from you as he almost signed for you in Jan time will tell.

Wonder if Fowler will go with him or stay and step up and be the new manager
