  1. Surely the first people clubs should tell are their supporters and sponsors. Preferably before it's a done deal.
  2. No one appears to be prepared to divulge this information so supporters as always are left in the dark. There is plenty of speculation about who's involved(not aĺl of it accurate) so it seems like we'll have to wait until some time after the EOS EGM on the 26th to actually find out what's happening. In the meantime page after page of this thread is filled with pointless discussion over possible set ups in two seasons time rather than discussing the current developments which are surely of more importance.
  3. I asked the same question last night but no answer. I appreciate that the EOS might not accept all this year's applicants but there has been so much speculation about the clubs involved that it would be great if we could see a definitive list of who has applied.
  4. That's what Tom Johnston wants. The juniors to be separate but still in the pyramid. Does anyone know someone who is going to the EOS meeting tomorrow night? It would be great if we could finally see a definitive list of those clubs who have applied to join.
  5. I would expect TJ to try and talk clubs out of leaving. It would be nice if someone could ask John Reilly if the east region will work on the structure for next season now so that clubs will know how many sides will be promoted/relegated this year before the season ends.
  6. If all junior clubs were part of the pyramid then you would have plenty of local games and much less travel.
  7. 5.6 million viewers for the final episode ain't bad for BBC2.
  8. Does anyone know what the difference between this year's Jungle Book and the one coming out next year with Benedict Cumberbatch? I had thought the 2017 version would be more faithful to the book whilst this year's was nearer the cartoon.
  9. I didn't want to go into this thread until after LOD finished as I'm obsessive about not knowing what happens in my favourite TV programmes until I watch them. I had expected this series to be a completely new story so I was delighted when Lindsay Denton reappeared. I can't ever remember a TV character who could have you sympathising with her one moment and wishing she was banged up for life the next. If Keeley Hawes doesn't get a Bafta this time round something's far wrong. I would agree about the ending being implausible but many dramas and films have this problem. I also agree with the praise for the interviews. They were every bit as good as Denton's in the last series. All in all just fantastic and definitely in my top half dozen dramas of all time(true Detective series 1 in there as well dogmc).
