  1. The RevPro ref incident after Sha slams the ref in the ring, Bodom then drags the ref outside and this takes place
  2. Next league games is also at home to Vale of Leithen. If they can win that they'd be 9 points clear of bottom with VoL still stuck on 0 points.
  3. I think Sha was covering for the early finish by slamming the ref to padding while out of the ring. It was a wrestling move so I'm sure it was as protected as possible. But with the ref not expecting it, and you know gravity, it obviously shook up the ref. Bodom on the other hand is meant to have then legit beat the ref.

However, they've proven themselves to be quite competitive in the competition. You've had the likes of Burntisland, East Kilbride, Cumbernauld Colts, Edusport/Caledonian Braves joining pyramid leagues with amateur roots. Amateur Cup winners having entry and doing alright could see the next club make the step into the senior pyramid.

  8. Southern Counties is basically the SOSFL. In the same way the EoSFA is the EOSFL.
  9. They aren't public. Only two sets were released on here due to people having access to them from their own sources. Those were the Lowland Sub Group PWG meetings of November 2018 and January 2019 Wednesday 14 November 2018 Attendance: Ian Maxwell (CE, Scottish Fa) - IM, Laura Dougan (Head of football Governance Scottish FA) - LD, Sandy Bryson (Head of Registrations Dept Scottish FA)-SB, Vicki McMullan (Disciplinary Dept Manager & Judicial Panel Secretary Scottish FA)-VM, Iain McQueen (Asst Secretary/Treasurer SJFA)-IMcQ, Tom Johnston (Secretary SJFA)-TJ, George Fraser (Chairman SLFL)-GF, Andrew Renwick (Vice-President EOSFA)-AR, John Greenhorn (Secretary EOSFA)-JG, Richard Osborne (Secretary Southern Counties FA)-RO. Wednesday 9 January 2019 Attendance: Ian Maxwell (Chief Executive, Scottish FA) - IM, Laura Dougan (Head of Football Governance, Scottish FA) - LD, Sandy Bryson (Head of Registrations Department, Scottish FA) - SB, Vicki McMullan (Disciplinary Department Manager & Judicial Panel Secretary, Scottish FA) - VM, Tom Johnston (Secretary, Scottish Junior FA) - TJ, George Fraser (Chairman, Scottish Lowland Football League) - GF, Andrew Renwick (Vice-President, East of Scotland FA) - AR, John Greenhorn (Secretary, East of Scotland FA) - JG, Richard Osborne (Secretary, Southern Counties FA) - RO. Also something that was never noted in the minutes but has been in an email relating to a PWG in May 2018 meeting was that the HFL and SoS reps joined by conference call. So in those November and January minutes it's not clear if any members also joined by conference call which may have limited their participation.
  10. The whole WRJFA is free to join because it gets the rest of the SJFA to fall into line with the existing senior pyramid with the only compromise being that the current one promotion spot to the Lowland League would become more difficult. But everyone expects additional promotion spots to the Lowland League so that's a temporary hard ship. On the other hand the SJFA Scottish Cup has to be fitted to the senior calendar to ensure the West Champion is available for the LL promotion play-offs. That means that the North and East Regions will also have their fixture lists set around the senior calendar, or at least won't have the Junior Cup shred fixture lists in the same manner. The SJFA aren't going to juggle to set of discliplines so will administer the SFA rules since that's what required for the West Region. The perception would also be that that the West are in the pyramid and so their clubs can gain SFA licensing, but the North and East are still outside so wouldn't have access to it. So the East Region will have to split itself in two and either disappear into the EoSFL and North Region or EoSFL and Tayside set ups. Which in turns takes another 20 or so clubs from the SJFA membership.
  11. I'm saying both plans require hoping that things get resolved at a later date. Junior plan requires hope that streamlining will take place. Senior plan hoping north and east get sorted at a later date.
  12. So the grand plan that is in no way badly drawn = West Region enters the pyramid and punt on all the other issues hoping at some point they get resolved in the future.
  13. Because you still have an entire region sitting outside the pyramid. So everyone in playing by the same rules and shared calendar. Dreadful idea, badly drawn, its never going to lead any streamlining and merger of leagues. Just the West in. North outside. East outside with no addressing of the boundary concerns. Job done! Pyramid sorted. Nothing needs corrected.
  14. The PGB already okayed the idea of the four leagues feeding the Lowland. The boundary has been discussed since then and the likes of Montrose never liked the idea of going to the Highland League. If you ever got in a situation where people could actually agree to this the boundary would have been addressed. So the West Region entering as is and not addressing the East Region's place in the pyramid is getting things right from the start? Or is that not a badly flawed plan hoping it will get corrected further down the line?
  15. Only for those that are trying to keep everyone happy or those that don't expect the format in year 1 will be the same by year 3+ for most of those permutations to happen. Nobody expects SoS to be at tier 6 forever after all.
  16. It's 21 members before they split into divisions. They'd run as a 20 team league. No danger of it happening anytime soon of course as you'd need another 4 clubs.
  17. The initial set up for the Lowland League was going to have the EoS, SoS, WRSJFA and ERSJFA underneath it at Tier 6. The intention then, as it probably is now, with the all in proposal from the SFA viewpoint is that further integration would happen. From the SFA PWG in March 2013 It's no different than how the Isthmian League and Southern League in England had some overlap. Although with Scotland being small enough you'd probably end up with the some merger eventually. It's only a starting point. The PWG split into Highland and Lowland camps. When the LL never came up with a proposal for a new Lower Pyramid Play-off, the SFA came up with their own. As they were only dealing with the Lowland League play-off the proposal is only for the Lowland League section. The only boundary that exists is the HL/LL boundary. That only became a thing by 2014 with the confirmation of the SPFL play-off. And it has been looked at by the PWGs being split into Highland and Lowland sections and the ERSJFA still be considered in the Lowland League. Even the EoS suggestion of the ERSJFA basically becoming a Tayside only league seems to suggest it would fall under the Lowland League.
  18. It's more than just some form of statement. It's the fact that after the PWG in September Maxwell went to the Professional Game Board meeting in October went here's the plan for Tier 6 in front of the SPFL, HL and LL reps and got approval. Then there was a backlash which is why the statement was never released. Then 6 months later when the SFA were left to propose a Lowland Pyramid Playoff they came up with the same plan of Juniors in at Tier 6. So there's official documents that cite the PGB as being okay with the Juniors in at Tier 6. The SFA Chief Executive okay with Juniors at Tier 6 and the SFA proposing a pyramid play-off with the WRSJFA and ERSJFA at Tier 6. Does that mean that the SFA want them in? No. Does it mean that that the SFA only support the Junior side of things? No. Does it means as a relatively impartial representative in this they're trying to mediate from all sides? Yes.
  19. But that's never been the boundary for relegation and everyone knows as exhibited by the panic of Montrose when they were Club 42 the first year. "People have always interpreted " has been people on forums like this, not in the boardrooms of clubs and offices of those that drew the line in the first place. I don't think they ever really discussed the boundary as a fixed point and it has been left as a point that can be negotiated. The SFA have sought solutions that won't to rip up existing leagues. Even the EoS has seemingly been open to the idea of Tayside falling under the Lowland League. They just don't want a competitor league that overlaps with the East.
  20. I agree and I'd only change the boundary at this point to a little lower since Scone and Tayport seem happy Tayside.
  21. The playoff reps are down to HL/LL champions. The SFA have no say over who is a member of those leagues. So while they might not have a fixed boundary between them, the LL are using the SPFL relegation boundary to determine membership.
  22. It is technically right though. In terms of last year's documents the only reference to the HL/LL boundary is for SPFL42 getting relegated. The LL did use it for the application information but it wasn't in their documents required for membership.
  23. I still think they're only talking about the Lowland side of things. Which is why they tried to suggest a North of Tay clubs choosing HL/LL if they won the playoff. By splitting the PWG but never resolving or even understanding the boundary issue is part of the reason things eventually blew up in the new year.
  24. I expect it to be packed. Just the more casual punter going to tie of the round on a Scottish Cup weekend will probably turn up to one of the Saturday games instead.
