  1. That's basically how I would have the initial set up. Nice graphic by the way, as it's certainly a lot better than what I can do!
  2. People seem to be suggesting flexibility over a handful of clubs. You tend to talk about an entire region being reclassified. That's the difference.
  3. Dalbeattie were not a EoSFL club when they joined the LL. You might be thinking of Gretna and it has already been confirmed they would be relegated to SoSFL despite membership to the EoSFA.
  4. OWE are setting up a UK version of their promotion. This is the Chinese company with CIMA as a trainer and ties to AEW.
  5. Supposedly there will be this deadline of 31st December for any LL pyramid playoff changes, so we'll see how things go over the next 4 months. While the Junior leagues retain Scottish Cup qualification, I don't have a problem with the NCL champion gaining qualification as well. Especially as I don't believe the NCL clubs enter the Amateur Cup due to their quasi-Senior status. So they have no qualification opportunity while other non-licenced clubs have two.
  6. https://www.whitehillwelfare.co.uk/teams/207515/match-centre/0-4586633/report Their injured back up GK was named on the bench.
  7. For National League level there are quotes of the TV deal they had being £300k p/a from 2013 and the subsequent extensions haven't trumpeted increases. While the National League have additional sponsors and probably get a payment from the EFL I doubt they're rolling in money. Yet you had a club like Barrow (av. 1,375) going down to the South coast of England multiple times last year: Dover (av. 1,123), Havant & Waterlooville (av. 1,277) and Eastleigh (av. 1,849). With those clubs having to head up to the Northwest once a year for the return legs. The National League North can also be pretty bad for travel as well and they would have lesser resources to do it on. Maybe Dunfermline flying down helped them win the tie, but they didn't have to. It was their choice to take a loss.
  8. Premliminary Round Two 31st August 2019 Banks O'Dee v. Golspie Sutherland Camelon Juniors v. Auchinleck Talbot Girvan v. Broxburn Athletic Lochee United v. Lothian Thistle HV Jeanfield Swifts v. Linlithgow Rose Threave Rovers v. Hill of Beath Hawthorn Whitehill Welfare v. Penicuik Athletic Quite a few intersting ties to look forward to in a couple of weeks.
  9. Is the draw for the next round going to be after today's games or sometime during the week?
  10. The SJFA situation where their league winners qualify should be reviewed since they exist outside the pyramid, but I still think the Junior Cup and Amateur Cup winners should be offered a qualifying route due to the number of clubs that compete at their respective levels.
  11. Nothing of note happened at the Clydebank agm I take it?
  12. EoS First Division Conference B Hawick Royal Albert United 1-1 Stirling University (EoS)
  13. EoS Premier Division Linlithgow Rose 2-3 Camelon Juniors Penicuik Athletic 1-2 Hill of Beath Hawthorn Two big away wins and the last 100% record in the Premier Division comes to an end.
  14. I'm guessing it will be the same set up that the men's championship decider had. Casino Battle Royale winner v. the winner of a match from All Out.
  15. Falling out of the top 20 certainly looks more difficult to do. However, the Czech Republic, Greece, Croatia, Serbia and Switzerland are highlighted as the best bets to surpass Scotland's current ranking. If both Celtic and Rangers get knocked out in the play-offs then Scotland should at least stay in 20th.
  16. I was only looking at 15-22 so missed Czech Republic dropping from 13th below Scotland. Thanks
  17. It doesn't change the qualifying process but a drop means we're either worse or those around us are improving. So it does matter if the aim is to 15th for the additional European spot. On current standing Scotland would be 16th and there's still a lot of football to be played in the 2019/20 season so it could be lower. And other than Sweden everyone else is guaranteed more chances to pick up points than us. The most extreme example being Switzerland that have 20 games to play at a minimum.
  18. While I see after this most people are staying positive and looking ahead. It might be time to worry about dropping from last year's final ranking of 20th. Switzerland are guaranteed three group stage teams and Norway will have at least one team make a group stage. Then Sweden back in 22nd could get AIK and Malmo in the Europa League groups as well, which would mean Celtic would of been knocked out.
  19. Thanks! I had thought about keeping an overall table once the inter conference games began as its easy enough to keep track. After all your just combining the two tables. One purely for inter conference games I hadn't really thought about. I might give it a go. I'm sure with bragging rights on the line we'll know which Is the more successful conference as we go along. There was that initial attempt at recording original EoS clubs v Juniors until it became a bit obvious.
  20. I'm guessing they're working with a limited talent pool right now considering the time of year.
  21. EoS First Division Conference B Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts 3-0 Stirling University (EoS) Easthouses Lily MW 0-1 Coldstream
  22. EoS First Division Conference A Craigroyston 1-8 Haddington Athletic Oakley United 0-1 Kinnoull Dunipace 5-0 Peebles Rovers
  23. Inverkeithing can reclaim top spot tomorrow, and with the poor start of Stirling Uni EoS they'll fancy their chances at the 3pts. I think it's fair that Preston fly under the radar just now, only two games in and they were against Tweedmouth and Stirling Uni EoS. Would of been interesting to see how their postponed opening day game against Tynecastle would of went.
  24. EoS First Division Conference A Heriot-Watt University 1-1 Ormiston Leith Athletic 1-0 St Andrews United
  25. EoS First Division Conference B Dalkeith Thistle 2-2 Tweedmouth Rangers Tynecastle 2-0 Glenrothes Tweedmouth have already matched last season's points total. Very nearly got a second win as they were leading 2-1 in the last ten minutes. But they couldn't clinch it as Dalkeith grabbed a late equaliser.
