  1. If I was the clubs and leagues involved I would be chasing it up with the SFA. Also with all the play-off games going just now there's extra attention media wise so i'd try and get some publicity over the situation.
  2. Anytime between now and early June when the SFA has their AGM.
  3. Apparently not. If there's no licensed champion at Tier 6 there's no relegation. The other caveats (B4a + B4b) to relegation only apply "in order to maintain a membership of sixteen clubs" So Cove promoted with no licensed EoS Champion = LL1-15 + Berwick Rangers = exactly 16 clubs.
  4. WW wouldn't be relegated in that scenario apparently. They are only relegated if there's a licensed Tier 6 Champion (which there wouldn't be) or if there's a need to balance the Lowland League membership at 16 clubs (which there wouldn't be because of the Selkirk vacancy).
  5. Think Syngenta have shut up shop on the idea. The manager left after the decision the other day. Putting the manager and I believe an u20 coach in place is one of the reasons I thought they might try again this year. If that's all fell apart already then obviously not.
  6. I don't think so. I guess the process would be if there was a request between now and the AGM to join, that the board would have to decide whether to allow it and then put it to the membership at agm. From memory that is how they did it last year. I guess if anything it could open the door to Syngenta and Glenrothes Strollers to try and resolve their issues and give it another go. Think it was the Strollers that didn't have a rep at the meeting to answer how they'd resolve their particular issues, so in their case it could be something manageable. Unlike Syngenta who were scrambling for a venue.
  7. There is a bit in the January minutes that can be read that way:
  8. Was there any talk during the egm of extending the application process this year?
  9. I hadn't noticed that they'd taken the date away. As they keep the site pretty up to date, it's a rather intentional move. Seems strange that in all the news from Thursday's meeting there wasn't any sort of announcement that they'd extended membership applications.
  10. EoS Premier Division: Blackburn United Bo'ness United Bonnyrigg Rose (Conference B Champion) Broxburn Athletic (Conference C Champion) Camelon Juniors Crossgates Primrose Dunbar United Dundonald Bluebell Hill of Beath Hawthorn Jeanfield Swifts Linlithgow Rose Musselburgh Athletic Newtongrange Star Penicuik Athletic (Conference A Champion) Tranent Juniors Best 6th Place 1st: Sauchie Juniors 2nd: Leith Athletic 3rd: Preston Athletic EoS First Divison(s) or Conferences:
  11. Conference C Camelon Juniors 9-1 Craigroyston Camelon smash Craigroyston to finish up their Conference season. It also sees them move up to 3rd in the table.
  12. Conference C Camelon Juniors v. Craigroyston Both teams finish their Conference campaigns. A win for Camelon gives them a chance of finishing 3rd.
  13. If they only have to use one 6th placed side to form the EoS Premier it'll work out as 12 teams in each Conference. Otherwise there will be uneven numbers between the two. Bit like this year i'd have Top 6 in each First Division Conference to form the proper 2020-21 EoS First Division. That guarantees 12 with the possibilty of 13 depending on how promotion and relegations goes higher up. Then the possibility that 7th placed sides could be used to make up the EoS First Division depending on applications and the like. It's annoying but hopefully there will be more applicants next year to bump up the Second Division level. I'd also have an overall First Division Championship play-off between the two Conference winners and possibly the two conference runners up play-off for a third promotion place.
  14. They didn't get accepted at last night's EGM. Both had issues with their chosen grounds apparently. Hopefully they can sort them in the next year and try again.
  15. Following tomorrow's games all the standings will be set. This year's Conference A and B will complete all their fixtures, while Conference C will have one outstanding fixture that won't effect the standings. We've also seen Glenrothes confirmed as a successful applicant for the 2019-20 season. Which means there no more worrying over whether we would ger a Glenrothes derby.
  16. Bit like how we we're due Kelty Hearts v. Cowdenbeath in the SPFL play-off this year. Or how East Stirlingshire were due to bounce back right away because of the parachute payments (2nd, 4th & 6th so far).
  17. The way it seems from the EoS neither Junior league has to worry about promotion next year. They'll be trialling the rule changes etc for a year to make sure things work, the EoS & SoS will have their usual champions play-off. If the EoS, SoS & LL try to change the play-off format for next year though, then the SFA might step in to include the Juniors.
  18. Syngenta publicly declared their intention last summer, that's how everyone knew they were applying. It's a bit damning that they've had the better part of a year and couldn't get the ground situation sorted. Hopefully they'll be back as well. Although as it's been suggested maybe both the Strollers and Sygenta will try to get into the East Region if only for next season to get things set up and running.
  19. They did last year and supposedly did in Kelty's case. Clubs have got to get in touch and discuss. Although there might be another joing EoS and East Region meeting. So maybe things could be discussed there.
  20. Think the SFA are only covering Tier 6. So West Premiership and East Super League.
  21. That's unfortunate to hear. Hopefully the can re-apply next year, but then any interest Musselburgh Windsor apparently had hasn't been followed up on since last year.
  22. Nope. For one because it doesn't exist Two, no other tier 6 league requires a license for participation.
  23. If they can fit in one they've no excuse for the rest.
