  1. Here's a query based on a discussion on the QOS Mad site. Can anyone clarify whether the ladies team are a part of the club or are they a separate entity? I'm guessing that they may be constituted separately for funding purposes but could be completely wrong on that score... Apologies if this has been discussed before.
  2. I agree. I also think the home shirt this year is great. Simple design is always best imho. And good to see no red anywhere in any of the strips. Always a concern, that.
  3. It’s undoubtedly the worst ground for watching football in the SPFL. You need a telescope to follow the action and the lack of ticketing info and general confusion re seating was frustrating. Also surprised by the lack of announcements which didn’t help. Great result though and I did enjoy the junior casuals away behind the goals.
  4. Am I misremembering or didn’t we call these Frenchies back in the day?
  5. I reckon many of us who are of a certain age recall the orange ball with great fondness. Really added to the atmosphere of winter games.
  6. Exactly this. Morton away is a disappointingly dull prospect.
  7. To answer my own question, the draw will be next Tuesday 04 October at 1.00 pm.
  8. Anyone know when the draw for the next round of the SPFL Trust trophy will take place?
  9. Really? What fecking badge did they put on it? The Tufty Club?
  10. Apologies if I’ve missed something but is the strip we wore at Elgin the new one for season 22/23? I recall talk of it not being ready until the end of July. What with the logos and all I’m assuming this is the new one, and not a temporary solution. If so, then it’s a belter. Exactly what a queens strip should look like imho. If they can show similar restraint on the 2nd (and 3rd?) strips we’ll look the part this season.
  11. What were we wearing at Raith? Looks like old away kit from a couple of years ago.
  12. Jeez.... I know these are said to be all about getting up to fitness and getting players to gel together, but could they have possibly contrived a less inspiring set of fixtures?
  13. No, you're not. I'm a firm believer that in terms of branding we should stick with a yellow and blue away strip so blue, yellow and white are recognised as Queens colours. As they are on many scarves etc. That said, I thought Morton's 3rd kit quite cool. A variation on the same colours. We could come up with numerous creative options....
  14. I’d go with the plain yellow, mainly because I think we should be building on the blue, yellow and white branding thing that already kind of exists. Very happy to see no red anywhere. I think any of the non-yellow ones would make a fine 3rd strip. Turquoise would certainly be something different!
