  1. And yet not surprising really. My expectations are never high when the SFA are involved.
  2. Thought Faddy had some lovely touches yesterday. The ball in for Dobbie to volley and one other hit with the outside of his foot spring to mind.
  3. Agree with this. Have to say though that Lyle often gets overlooked when the plaudits are being handed out. He brought real quality yesterday at a point when it was sorely needed. A super player.
  4. Bit heavy, bit slow but some nice touches. I was thinking watching him that the amount of game time he gets will depend on what he manages to produce on the park and vice versa. Same could be said of all players I guess but can't help but wonder if it's all a bit late for Faddy. Hope I'm wrong.
  5. Not convinced tbh. Saw some great moments a la final at Livingston but don't think his heart has been with the club for some time now. Bye bye Lee. I for one won't miss your wild kicks out to the left wing.
  6. Disappointed we didn't take three points today after coming back after the substitutions. Shame we didn't manage to get it together on the deck for much of the game as high balls in to Dobbie was never going to work given the size of their defenders. Even Del with his spring heels was struggling. Both goals were beauties though and an away point on a day when there were lots of draws will have to do. Other teams will struggle to take much away from Livingston. Congrats to Lyle for equalling Andy T's tally. More to come I'm sure.
  7. Then I guess the question is whether or not having vandalised paintings visible to passers by is worthwhile. Personally would prefer the brick work but I appreciate others feel differently.
  8. I'm afraid I was never in favour of those paintings being put on that wall. Never the right place for them imho as it was a nap they'd get vandalised and I always actually rather liked the wall as it was. I'd hope it would be preserved in any future redevelopment. The paintings, if people were determined to have them, might have been better placed somewhere inside the ground. I said as much at the time and if my opinion goes against the flow so be it. Reckon they should come down now.
  9. Indeed. They have very short memories, and an uncanny ability to turn a blind eye to history when that too suits them.
  10. It's a damn shame that happened and I hope the board still feel some of that shame. I too was horrified by the decision the club took re the vote. I know many people who took a personal decision to boycott Palmy on the back of it and I respect their decision. Thankfully they're back now. I've been accused of being obsessed but this for me is the reason I can't bear to watch us play in red. Added to the white and blue it sends a shudder down my spine. Rangers in disguise? It's unrealistic, I guess, to expect any formal statement about the vote after all this time but I'd love us to publicly bin the idea of ever playing in red again.
  11. I think a significant number of Rangers fans hate everyone.
  12. I'd be up for buying a block of home tickets at the start of the season. I live too far away to make a season ticket viable and can't afford to buy one as a goodwill gesture but if a book of say 6 tickets be available for home games I could choose nearer the time I'd probably buy it. The discount would need to be less than that of a season ticket to make it work for the club but it's an idea, no? I also think if we upped the quality of our merchandising, especially in leisure wear, we'd sell more. I saw a mate wearing a black Hibs jacket with a subtly EMBROIDERED black badge recently and the first thing I thought was "if Queens sold something like that I'd buy it". Could be completely wrong though...
  13. Ditto. I agree with this, although if truth be told I could live with anything other than red which for my money suggests an affinity with Rangers. People may argue it does no such thing but I believe that for many it does and they're uncomfortable with that. I know most of my personal Queens supporting friends are of this way of thinking.
