  1. Sh sh we're hoping it goes unnoticed. No seriously if he keeps carrying on as he is doing Carlisle Utd. will come calling one day. ( he has the record of most played games for them). His apprenticeship is going well picking up useful experience. He's pretty chilled though and happy with his lot at the moment.Refreshingly he never moans continuously about 1 of , if not the lowest player budgets in the league.
  2. Also full back Matty Douglas from the Reds (player of the year there in 2017/18 & ex.Carlisle Utd. youth. ) Up front a chance for Tommy Muir to combine with Nade who have both resigned.. I bet shrewd old Peter has some choice midfielders in mind.Shaping up nice.
  3. Only 4 players signed so far but in Murphy we trust !
  4. No wrong - he got results. He improved players performance to do this. Majority of Clyde fans are too thick to see this - obviously managers of our rival teams are more knowledgeable -I repeat 6 of our players have now been signed up.4 of these to the promoted teams in our league and the other 2 by bigger spenders.
  5. What's the crack.Hawkins told me Killie are after Murphy
  6. All the best to all our players who strive for better things but it is quite funny the way teams have berated Annan, especially Clyde, yet the 2 teams who got promoted have taken 2 players each & even Stirling Albion have took a couple too. We could not have been too bad last year eh ?
  7. Very true Pride of the Clyde.Heard tonight Peterhead have taken Aiden Smith from us and are in talks with Scott Hooper. Stirling taken Creaney and Wilson -ah well some fresh faces next year.
  8. Quite amusing the persistent denigrating of the Annan players when you consider the Clyde starting line up on Saturday contained 3 ex. Annan players :- Currie ,Cuddihy & McNiff then also 2 of the substitutes :- Love and Nicholl. McNiff and Love were the goalscorers. Now you sign Johnston. Seems a bit like biting the hand that feeds you !
  9. I thought Hissy was a Stranraer legend ? Dick Shaw - nothing to do wi Annan now -just one o the SFA blazer brigade who used Annan for his own needs ( Credit due tho I believe he did a lot o work as South o Scotland fixture secretary )
  10. Quite embarrassing statement.Top goalscorers in the league this year ! Chapman - Yeh u thought he was so good you grabbed him & he took half our team. Bit annoying the 2 goalscorers were ex. Annan but hi that's their choice, short career & decision proved fruitfull in the end Lack of ambition ? Our 4th play offs since joining the league and 2 of them finals. Gretna ? We have no sugar daddy ,probably the lowest budget in the league. We know our limitations but never confuse that with lack of ambition. Sorry I should have congratulated Clyde on their promotion.Well done guys enjoy your night.
  11. Doesnae say anything about Carers so be the same as you Marco !

  13. Galabanks capacity is 2,500. If that was 1,006 on Tuesday night it would be a squeeze to fit in another 1,500 !
  14. Absolute shame for Kenny, would definitely have moved on to better things if he hadn't been so injury prone. A really nice guy too.
  15. Look at this. No bad for a newish league team :- 3 Challenge Cup semi-finals ; 2 play off semi finals and another 2 play off Finals . Ok we bow to Clydes superior history. 16. Never looked forward to a match as much for a long time. You are right BWS I think every fan is feeling the same way - excited but full of trepidation ; imagine how the players feel. Peter Murphy has said that is the key - how they can handle it. Got to keep their cool in the heat of battle. Thats where guys like Nade and Goodwillie have more experience but then again the young dudes on both side should have no fear. May the best team win.
  17. Very hard to say. You are right Nade won a lot of the arial flicks and holds the ball up really well. I would say a battle of the minds between Peter Murphy and Danny Lennon each trying to guess the others selection. I think Clyde will be out the traps fast and Peter will be trying to match that. Whether he uses Nade straight away or brings him on later for his experience in holding on to the ball. Team selection will be very interesting. This year with Annan its not just been about 11 men but the whole squad particpating at some time or another - an advantage of small squads ( provided you get lucky with injuries).
  18. Ha Ha Marco you are getting excited combining TOMMY Muir and Chrissy JOHNSTON to get the hybrid Tommy Johnson . Good on you - that combination can be very effective !
  19. Our our boys give 100% too so should be a cracking game. Could understand your disappointment if you don't make it but this Annan team is not gonna lie down. We've peaked at the right time. (I sincerely hope)
  20. Annan score first and it could prompt a Clyde melt down , like nothing seen since Chernobyl. Come on the black and golds you can do it. Release Tommy on them.
